Thank you Frizzle and Jim for sharing this wonderful hiking experience through Baxter Park Alas i will never get there to experience the pure beauty in person. I have some health issues as i approach my 65 th Birthday on xmas day I'm fortunate to have been introduced to nature at an early age. Both my parents loved trips to national parks. I'm fortunate to live in The bay area of northern California. We have enjoyed many trips to Yosemite and lake tahoe. I was an avid skier and loved the taboe experience through every season. I lived in Hawaii and hiked many trails in the hills of each island. Haleakala crater is amazing. I understand your connection to Baxter park. I feel that connection in Hawaii. The volcanoes and high altitudes are very spiritual. I truly want to thank you Frizzle for your vlogs. I look at my surroundings differently now. I appreciate the beautiful rolling hills of my town. I pause and appreciate how lucky i am to live surrounded by such beauty. You have opened my eyes my spirit to appreciate what had always been here right in front of me. Thats a special gift you give to your viewers. You have enlightened my life to really look and take in the nature that surrounds you. I have so much gratitude to send to you. Wishing you and your family all the best.
Oh thank you so much for sharing this with me, with all of us....with this truly beautiful community we have all created together. I appreciate your kindness and thoughtful words. Hawaii sounds like an incredible place to visit - someday. I wish you the best and on your 65th birthday, find something special in nature that you can soak up and soak in, like you have in so many beautiful places you've been blessed to experience. I appreciate you!
For 30 some years we camped for a week at Baxter. Our favorite place on earth. We loved Russel Pond, however, we only stayed one night hiking in from Roaring Brook. It was to much hiking for one night. Thank you so much for recreating those special memories for me.
So beautiful! Thanks for sharing! 🥾🥾🐾🐾🥰
Thanks for watching!
Beautiful opening scenes. Very nice park and they do take care of campers. On my bucket list. Thanks for taking us along.
Thanks for watching! You have to make it happen - it's truly a special place.

That is awesome! I agree it's too far for just one night. Plus there's clearly much to explore all around there!
Thank you for another super backpack trip.
