RCT3 Paradise Key Water Park

Just off the coast is an island water park called Paradise Key. It contains numerous pools, slides and rides that will provide an full day of fun for the entire family.
Notes: As soon as you enter the park you walk across a bridge, under the lazy river and are greeted by a steel drum band. There are speakers hidden under the stage that plays music to make it seem like they are actually playing. There is a lazy river that runs around the entire pool area with 3 different stations to enter & exit. There are 2 separate hot tub sections that are secluded off the path and surrounded by plants for a relaxing atmosphere. The main pool is called The Islands Pool because there are 3 islands in the middle of the pool that contain sun chairs and diving boards in addition to some nice trees & plants. There are several slides located through out the park offering a variety of thrills. On the side of the park near the waterfall, you can ride a number of water-themed flat rides to give you a chance to get out of the pool for a while and get something to eat at a number of food stalls. I know the lack of supports on the Crazy River makes it look like a bit unrealistic but there is a lot of scenery underneath it so that's the way it came out. At night the entire park is lit by tiki torches. No pool lights were used at all in this park.
Before anyone asks, the waterfalls in the back of the park at The Family Pools are NOT custom scenery or any sort of cheat. It is a simple trick I learned in the Atari forums. No, I will not explain to you how it is done. You'll have to go learn for yourself. I'm not trying to be rude but it would be much easier on me and you if you just went and read the tutorial.

Yes I do use the in-game recorder and yes it is very laggy, especially at night. But, as you can see, the end result is worth it.
I love how the hot tub's are arranged and how the fauna is arranged around them

this is an awesome water park, and i would go to it any day.... it was extremely realistic and the crazy river is a lot longer than any other ride of it's kind :P

I would never say anything bad about Alloria. His work is amazing and I'm flattered to be considered in the same league (or even better but I would never claim it). The only thing I would say about his videos is while they look great, they are all almost basically the same indoor park, just laid out differently and revamped. I like to try to do something different with each park I make.

The PC I filmed on does not have a good video card and therefore does not have reflective water. I am now filming on a different PC so my new videos look better.
The good thing is you can use the RCT3 music because it all just fits so well :p

Go to Scenario Editor. When it loads up, go to the Open Park section and open a park you have already created in Sandbox.

I liked it, especially how you did the Hot Tubs, but you should find a cover for those toilets.
I have a basic idea when I start but I don't really plan anything out. When I started this park, all I knew is I wanted a water park on an island with a section for flat rides. After that, I just started building. But I do try to imagine myself standing in the park and what would look good and add to the natural flow of the park. Keep practicing. Practice makes perfect.
What's the name of the music??? I think the second music is Wipeout........

On the Crazy River, the water is not actually going uphill. The water stops at the up point and only the raft continues. That that ride is actually one that is included with the game.

My best suggestion is to use the Atari forums to pick up inspiriation, tips & hints. There are plenty of talented people there to lend a helping hand.
The song is from the RCT3 game; don't remember what it's called. For the waterfall trick, read the video notes to the right where it says, 'Before anyone asks.....'.

I loved the park. It is awesome if it was a real place I would go there. You got a talent there, you didn't use CS and it still looks awesome. Good job. I'm also working on a water park but thanks god that billboards are in the Soaked expansion pack for mac. It's such a pity that Wild! for mac was never published :(

Bamboo floor - just place the bamboo flooring over the pool path. Waterfall - please read the video description.

Yes, it is the regular speakers that come with the game. I simply dragged them down so only the tops were above ground.

I know how he did the waterfall: First you build a small hill and fill water in it. Then you make a small hole next to it and fill it with water. Then you make the waterfall. Then cover the hole with pool pieces and there you go.
May I ask you,how do build stairways and rides high like most of yours? I am new at trying to make water parks lol.
You choose the lazy river ride and place it until you have a completed circuit. It has to go in a complete circle.
Also, how did you get the buildings to get connect with the pools?

If you go to the scenery button, and you can get all the random cool stuff, narrow it down to Paradise and they should be there

Thanks. Those signs are the standard 2x1 billboard that comes with the game (I have Platinum). I created the logo in Photoshop.

To get a different park entrance, open your park in the Scenario Editor and go to scenery. There are several entrances to choose from.
What is the song at the beginning?
I would love to know how you managed to have waterfalls streaming down from the paths, I haven't seen scenery available in game for that. Nice park!
Recording takes a long time, especially at night. To learn the flying camera, Google 'RCT3 flying camera tutorial'. The music is in the Music folder in the RCT3 folder. All you have to do is look.

It is the standard 'Custom Stall' that comes with Wild.
