Building Cremona Chair Kits

- Building chairs from scratch doesn't sound like my kind of a good time, so I did the next best thing for our dining set and ordered some chair kits from Matt Cremona. Here's how I put them together! The only tools needed were a sander, some clamps, and a router (and you could just do more sanding and no routing).

Finally got around to watching. Nice work on the chairs! They look amazing with the full makeover 🥳
Thanks, Matt! They went together great and fit the space really well 👍🏼
Nice job. Love how they turned out. They are much better in person. These are on the list to buy.
Can't go wrong with them
These turned out beautifully!!!
Thank you!
Nice chairs. Love that finish.
Thanks!
This is the only way I would consider making chairs.
Same brother, same
I’ll keep these in mind for my next table! Although I would to tackle making chairs
Yeah for sure! They’re quite an endeavor. But if you just need to crank some out, this is a great answer.
Nice project.
Thanks!
Just like following you, I have been following MC for some time and really like his content. When I saw the chairs, I was intrigued on how he made them and the fact they are mass produced. I also like his warehouse set up as I really like your workshop. Question - since you are using a natural finish are you worried about squeeze out and not being able to hide the epoxy at the joints? On a sidenote - sandals in the workshop! NO - even if you aren't using anything dangerous - just saying - LOL. Fantastic job on the dining room set. Really like the sideboard. Stay safe young man.
I just spent some quality time with a scraper and chisels cleaning up any before the finish on, I probably should've recorded that
Great video, Caleb. I’m about to start the process of putting together one of these chair kits too. Would you still recommend using the epoxy after your chairs have seen some use?
I’ve been using them over a year and they’re still tight
Did anyone get a 70's - 80's XXX music vibe? Me? ok......Nice video my friend.
Nice job! I am surprised that there are no stretchers, on the sides and the back.
Between the rails and corner blocks there's no need. You normally just see lower stretcher on chairs where the legs go directly into the seat, like a Windsor.
👍👍👍👍👍
👍🏼👍🏼
I have nothing to say really, but I appreciate your content, and wish to help with the yt-algorithms.
Appreciated as always
Hi Caleb, how come you're not answering emails for a whole year?
