How on earth could you leave out Dick Van Dyke and Mel Brooks?????!!!!!
Dick Van Dyke, born December 13, 1925, age 97.
Mel Brooks, born June 28, 1926, age 97.

Yes. They both belong on this list. Leslie Caron also.
Also June Lockhart (98) Vera Miles (94) Mamie Van Doren (92) Robert Duvall (92)
Those were exactly two names that I was surprised not to be mentioned!!! They are super major figures in movies and TV history!!
What about Michael Caine?!?! He is 90 years old now, and certainly a major actor And Star for six decades, not to mention, a Two time Academy Award winner
Morgan Freeman is 86 years old, Al Pacino is 83, Robert de Niro is 79, Dustin Hoffman is 86, Robert Redford is 86, Jack Nicholson is 86, Christopher Llyod is 84, Robert Duvall is 92, Donald Sutherland is 88, the great Mel Brooks is 97, Martin Sheen is 83, Joe Pesci is 80, Bruce Dern is 87, Diane Lane is 87, Jon Voight is 84.

Leslie Caron, 92 years old. She deserves to be on this list. 2 Oscar nominations, an Emmy Award, star of two Best Picture Oscar winners (AN AMERICAN IN PARIS and GIGI), Golden Globe award winner plus 2 BAFTAS.
Yes!! You are SO Right!! Those movies, plus playing Anthony Hopkins' wife in QB VII, in which her character had to age over a span of 30 years or so. She was VERY GOOD in that also, of course. Another major talent that should not be overlooked. Maybe there will be a part two to this tribute to actor(s) who are still alive?!
well thats the interNOT for ya
Can't fit everyone, it would go forever
I agree Harrington!
Amen! A superb actress and stunning dancer. Her work with Gene Kelly in An American in Paris will stand forever.

Ann Robinson born May 25, 1929 played Sylvia in the original War of the Worlds is now 94.
Many many years ago i was a child in my dads store and at that time a western series was being filmed near this location. And every week my parents would turn into it and clint Eastwood was just starting his career and very young and handsome beyond words. One day he came into the store and I kept looking at him and finally he smiled and patted my little hand & said " yes it's me" and I remember just feeling absolutely dazzled. I have been a fan ever since & have watched every single show he has been in. A true legend. ❤
Oh no, a lot of actors got it wrong! very disappointing.

I would have fainted --- back then, he was one of the handsomest men on the planet. 😍
My dad died on Friday, January 12, 1962, the night our favorite show Rawhide aired, and I found out he passed away because he was late to watch the show with me. It’s comforting to know that Clint Eastwood is still alive. My mom has since passed away as well. When Mr. Eastwood dies, it will almost be like losing another relative.
None of us look as good as we looked when we were young. And I speak from personal experience; at 74, I see the changes brought on by age and health issues. It isn’t pretty, but, by golly, I’m still here! 🎉☺️ I’m guessing that some of these “Now” photos are actually just the most recent available photos, because though, for the most part, they all look terrific for their age, some of the “Now” photos cannot be accurate as current photos. Janis Page, a terribly underrated performer, is supposedly 100 in the “Now” photo, but I don’t think so. However, regardless of how they may look now, they are to be congratulated and admired for their resilience, and for their contribution to the entertainment field. Bless them all!
speak for yourself, Im a chiseled god
Except for me at 75. My hair is grayish white, tho. No wrinkles, actually. BUT: i walk with a cane and suffer from minor dementia. Oh well, life is good. Happily married 53 years, my three kids are successful. I have 5 gkids, from 2 weeks old to 13 yrs old. Can't bitch 😉

James Earl Jones was the original voice of Darth Vader and also played Alex Haley in 1979 Roots.
I saw him on stage in the title role in Othello, back in the 80s. He owned the stage in that.role.

And don't forget his performance in Field of Dreams. Jones was 68 when it came out. It also featured 75 year old Burt Lancaster in his last role.

There are many wonderful talented actors from the Golden Age of Hollywood. May they always be remembered.
Hi Kathy 👋 where are you from?
Dick Van Dyke and Marla Gibbs
With all this new technology in Hollywood the days of actors like Clark Gable, Kirk Douglas, Donna Reed, Robert Mitchum,Katherine Hepburn, Audrey Hepburn, Ava Gardner, Frank Sinatra ( was a great singer but also a very good actor), Burt Lancaster, Jimmy Stewart, Steve McQueen, Paul Newman, Ernest Borgnine, Glenn Ford, Tony Randall, I could go on and on are over. They were actors. Donald Sutherland, Charles Bronson. There are just too many to list. Acting was an art. Now computers make people do impossible feats. Nice to watch sometimes but Actors from the 30s 40s 50s and some 60s were special. I'll watch an old movie anytime before I watch one with tons of animation. Good Old Hollywood.
I think what bothered me the most was the AI voice they used to narrate this clip!
And the annoying background music
And the mispronunciations.
Like "Gene Hack-Man". 😲
Emphasis on the wrong syllables. Can’t they get Siri to speak this stuff??🤣
These computer voices need the names entered in phonetically.
I ADORE WILLIAM Daniels especially as John Adams in 1776!!!
Boy meets world
I absolutely loved him on St. Elsewhere and in 1776. I also enjoyed him on Boy Meets World.
Glynis Johns
Born: 5, October 1923
British retired actress, dancer, musician, and singer.
She was nominated for an Oscar and Golden Globe and is most famous for originating the role of Desiree in Sondheim's "A Little Night Music", for which she won a Tony. Sondheim wrote "Send in the Clowns" specifically for her.
Had no idea she was still living! Everyone loves Glynis.

👵👴 "While celebrating longevity is wonderful, let's be mindful of the language used. Referring to actors and actresses as 'oldest' might overshadow their incredible careers and contributions. Let's focus on honoring their achievements rather than emphasizing age. 🌟🎬 #RespectfulAcknowledgment"
She was wonderful in the 1940’s movie “Vacation from Marriage” with Deborah Kerr and Robert Donat. What a charming actress and I also adored her in “Mary Poppins” and “While You Were Sleeping.”
@@hourglasstv01 as an oldster myself, going into my 8th decade, I can personally assure you that reaching a specific 'number' IS an achievement,

William Shatner also started a ladies underware business but it didn't do very well, a lot thought it was the business name: Shatner Nickers
It is too bad the names of these notable actors and singers could not be properly pronounced. This has been a notable feature of so many commentaries - probably done by machine and AI that is still lacking.
For example: Gene Hack-man (as pronounced) and in the same sentence Superman was pronounced as Hackman should have been.
