My fave dark haired welsh goddess/ Venus Aphrodite of Hollywood and European cinema. Great interview, this is one of my fave films ever. She really is cast perfectly in it. She's not kidding - Catherine was HUGE in the UK from Darling Buds to The Cinder Path, it was clear she should be a huge hollywood star (in much the same way we all saw Margot Robie on Neighbours and knew she was going to make it big time). She started doing little British films & then poof - she was gone - off & running. I don't blame her for going to the U.S. it would have been suffocating for her to live here with constant tabloid attention. She got to be a real acrtress, doing fun roles but she got to be one of many.
