Jodie’s performance of Prima facie was incredible. I only got to see it at the movie theater but I thought she was amazing - I could only dream of actually seeing her perform that live. A great watch! Don't know about anyone else but whenever I watch an interview with Jodie it puts a bit of a spring in my step and sets me up for the day. For me it wasn't that she's not a cat person but how much emphasis she put on DOGS. Seems like cats are really not her thing and yet, her personality is more catlike. She's very sensitive and very self protective (understandable) which are more cat qualities than dog. Her outer personality is very dog, her inner self is very cat so it's funny she does not relate to them.

Maybe Josh grew up in a very well to do upper middle class background or is a native New Yorker I'm guessing but assuming everyone in the UK especially those from Liverpool or further up north spend alot of time in the London is only an assumption someone grew up with a certain amount of money would assume,as if trips to London are a regular part of so many peoples childhoods especially if they do not live close. London is an expensive place to visit and unless your family have money or relatives there then its unlikely you will have spent much time there especially all the way up from Liverpool.I am sure that many Americans have not visited New York either or its for a special occassion that many families will save up for to visit broadway or see the sights.Bless him,he seems like a sweetheart but has obviously spent very little time in the UK or maybe just London. Prima Facie is probably one of the greatest most powerful pieces of theatre that I have ever seen,it is incredible,so captivating,not one dull moment when you have time to think of anything else as you are totally drawn into whats happening to this character.Magnificent threatre at its best and most vital. I actually think theatre is better than most the movies being made now,I wish they would film more of the theatre as screen it as so many of the films just don't match up in as far as content about human condition and theatre does that in spades with its focus on character,relationship dynamics etc

A great watch! Don't know about anyone else but whenever I watch an interview with Jodie it puts a bit of a spring in my step and sets me up for the day. Loved the bit where she said she'd follow people with dogs but then said it's probably weird! 😂 Well, I wouldn't think so, I would lap up the chance to be followed by her. Joking aside, I'd even pay to meet and have a one on one chat and day of activities with her, she just seems like a really nice woman to spend time with, it would complete me actually! Plus I'm only a year apart in age from her so I feel like we'd relate to each other well 🙂
Duuuuuude! Me too! I’m a year older than her, but she is definitely very relateable. She’s also so well spoken, genuine, humble, and a real down to earth person. The way she conducts herself is such a breath of fresh air! Phenomenal! When I grow up, I wanna be like Jodie!

For me it wasn't that she's not a cat person but how much emphasis she put on DOGS. Seems like cats are really not her thing and yet, her personality is more catlike. She's very sensitive and very self protective (understandable) which are more cat qualities than dog. Her outer personality is very dog, her inner self is very cat so it's funny she does not relate to them.

Maybe Josh grew up in a very well to do upper middle class background or is a native New Yorker I'm guessing but assuming everyone in the UK especially those from Liverpool or further up north spend alot of time in the London is only an assumption someone grew up with a certain amount of money would assume,as if trips to London are a regular part of so many peoples childhoods especially if they do not live close.
London is an expensive place to visit and unless your family have money or relatives there then its unlikely you will have spent much time there especially all the way up from Liverpool.I am sure that many Americans have not visited New York either or its for a special occassion that many families will save up for to visit broadway or see the sights.Bless him,he seems like a sweetheart but has obviously spent very little time in the UK or maybe just London.
Prima Facie is probably one of the greatest most powerful pieces of theatre that I have ever seen,it is incredible,so captivating,not one dull moment when you have time to think of anything else as you are totally drawn into whats happening to this character.Magnificent threatre at its best and most vital.
I actually think theatre is better than most the movies being made now,I wish they would film more of the theatre as screen it as so many of the films just don't match up in as far as content about human condition and theatre does that in spades with its focus on character,relationship dynamics etc
