If anyone needs another reason to stay sober….One of the last things my dad told me before he died of cirrhosis in the hospital was that he needed to stop drinking. I knew he had a drinking problem but I didn’t know he was sick. I was looking for houses for him because he was about to move back up north with me for a new start. He was living in Florida taking care of his parents and he was about to experience seasons again. He was going to get to know my husband and there were so many places I wanted to show him. That was all ruined because of his addiction. It’s not worth it. He didn’t get a chance to get sober but alcohol will never touch my lips again. One month so far 💜 thank you for your videos LD
Thank you for your honesty, as always LD. This is my biggest motivator not to drink. In addition to the embarrassment, the lack of authenticity doesn’t feel good. Not being true to yourself is a terrible feeling. Like you said, you’re not that person.
Dude, I literally was going to make this a video suggestion for myself. I completely made an ass of myself on Thanksgiving in front of my whole family and everyday I literally think about what I said and what I didn't say and try to piece things together and it literally bothers me to no end

Angry drunken Facebook rants and comments were about the worst things. Falling off my friend's porch into the grass on Thanksgiving that one time was probably the all-time embarrassing situation.
Slayers story the other day was frightening. It took allot of guts to reveal it. Hope he watches it when he feels like drinking, that nightmare should be a deterant.
We’ve had to take down a few big trees t our new house and it was entertaining to watch! I be embarrassed myself a lot too bad never want to go back there!
Hey LD - that’s a big ole tree 🌲. I would drink the most at home so if I did fall it wouldn’t be too embarrassing. 🙈 I did throw up in my purse at a restaurant once. I tried to go to the bathroom but someone was doing their business and those vodka and cranberry came right up. I didn’t want to make a mess so there went my purse 👛. 🤢 Anyways, nothing we can do about those embarrassing moments but be glad we don’t have to worry about that anymore.

One of the worst things for me was passing out at the dinner table at Thanksgiving a few years ago! 😬 I got an earful after that one, for a while! Just another reason not to drink alcohol!

Hey LD, great video..i think my embarrassing moment was when i fell up the steps on my porch..it was so loud the neighbor actually came outside..im not sure if he ever told my partner or not..there's probably a few other thing but that was pretty embarrassing..as always God Bless!
Definitely don’t pick up anything heavy whatsoever LD!! I’m so glad you are mindful about it!! I really think that’s what happened to Heather. I think she lifted something too heavy for the procedure she had had 2 weeks prior. They had to give her 17 blood transfusions and do a surgery to stop the bleeding. They did that only to keep her body alive for organ donation. They didn’t try to save her life by putting in shunts. Heather didn’t have health insurance. That’s one thing those still drinking ought to consider. Dr’s usually won’t do all the fancy procedures if on self pay. But believe they will allow a medical detox on self pay.
How does someone pass out from alcohol? Back a few times when I would drink heavy, by the 10 shot the feeling goes from good to bad. My head would start spinning and I had to throw up. That's why I never liked drinking that much, because by the 10 shot you start feeling terrible. After throwing up a couple of times, I would just go lay down and fall asleep. Is that considered passed out?
