What first got me hooked on your channel was you having to cut for the pull list. I have to do this every freaking week. It's sad but true. And so many companies do not take into account how much it costs its fans every week. A big example is the Transformers universe that Kirkman has built. My comic guy got me to get the book void rivals because it sets up this world colliding with the Transformers and Gi-Joe. Supposedly all combining soon. So I am 9 almost 10 into void rivals...there is a few small cameos from there world but it doesn't justify another book I cannot afford when there are others. It got worse. Every GI-Joe character has a #1 on there own. I just cannot afford all those books weekly. Just like blood hunt. 5$ a pop adds up MARVEL. I cannot do every tie-in. Although Black panther and midnight suns was the major high point of the series so far. Just saying I appreciate you mentioning having to cut books. It is heart breaking, yes we can get the trade if it comes out but man. Just saying I get it. I really do. That is why the comic geeks site is ESSENTIAL as a comic reader. ESSENTIAL!!

I was a pre-teen when I saw the Dick Tracy film and somehow it felt like I was getting away with something. This movie's rating, which I had to look up, was only PG in the United States, but it had the Tommy guns, the cool cars, and prime Madonna who definitely stole the show for me as a preteen. Besides Madonna, though, I really remember it being cool for the colors, costumes and makeup. It really did give it a comic book feel and even the kid in the movie, did great, and he would go on to do What About Bob a year later. I even forgot the film had Pacino. So, I was full of nostalgia jumping in on the new comic book run and I would also say that it delivered. It established the world well, and I look forward to issue 2!
Heroes Con sounds fun. Maybe next year.
I've just been back in comic collecting as an adult for almost a year. My first real comic con was NC Comiccon in November and it was awesome!
Great channel. Thanks for covering Ultimate X-men. Got the first three issues to see what it would be. With three new X-men lines starting I'll probably pick one to follow and maybe keep reading Ultimate X-men in a TPB.

lol it’s a good book. Especially if you like a good psychological thriller like the Criminal Minds tv show. Just doesn’t fit my headspace right now, and my budget is maxed out anyway lol
