- Regardless of what few complaints I may have with Lost Judgment though, it’s hard to deny just how accomplished the game really is at almost everything it sets out to do.
From its extremely polished and distinct take on its predecessor's gameplay to its arresting story to the great localization to even minor touches and additions that collectively enhance the experience so much, Lost Judgment is an incredibly compelling game that is well worth playing.
I'm glad this game got a sequel. Its an under rated series

@@SteezysWorld yes that's true yakuza games have dialogue problems, but the only game with full voice acting (yakuza 6) had the least minigames. It's not a big budget AAA game so there is only so much you can expect.

I begged for a sequel after completing the first game; preordered this game immediately after announcement and I’m eagerly waiting to play it

I'm glad I get to play the judgement sequel Lost Judgement, I pre ordered this game and can't wait to play it, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has not disappoint me since Yakuza began years ago ✊
Just finished Judgment and hot damn! That was so good! 9/10 for me. Love the story and characters! Hopefully I get to save up so that I can buy Lost Judgment!

I'd say if you can then do it. The OG has a great story to it for the characters and gives you a better understanding to there history. I'm midway through playing it at the moment before this releases and I'm totally hooked

Play the first, it stills holds up too good, even has a next gen upgrade 60 fps, it's well worth to play the first i beat the First Last month didn't regret it took me 80 hrs to do everything in the game

As someone who has played every RGG Studios game, Judgment is one of the best for newcomers to their games, particularly those who are unsure if they want to commit to the Yakuza games just yet.
It stands alongside Yakuza 0 as one of the best written stories, the engine they introduced in Yakuza 6 has finally been refined, and there's this unique gritty, neo noir atmosphere to Judgment that hasn't been in the Yakuza series except maybe in the original one for ps2.
I absolutely loved this game! I feel bittersweet when finishing the game, so I'm super happy that the series will continue. Ign can suck it!

@@MagiofAsura Yes! I've watched/read a lot of detective animes/mangas (Conan, Kindaichi, Tantei Gakuen Q etc.) and Judgment comes very close to those. The story and characters are top notch that they can make you forget/ignore about other flaws easily!

Not gonna lie that ign review almost made me not get this game. I can tell you actually played the first one and enjoyed it. The ign review had to be made by someone who never play Yakuza at all

i’ve seen that you spend a large amount of time dealing with and fighting teens which I just don’t get why the would put that in an M rated action game. I wanna fight crime bosses and criminals not high schooler lol
High schoolers are crime bosses and criminals. Only in video game world can you live out every adult's dream of beating the shit out of teenagers.
I mean you did the same thing with Yakuza 0 (Majima vs Ryuji in which the latter became the final boss in 2).

I am so buying this game! I loved the Yakuza Like a Dragon but never finished it cause I didn't want to keep paying for gamepass...but this game looks like it is worth the $60. Especially since its not turned based combat! I love Japanese culture and how this game is actually shedding light on how these kids go through high school and everything.

I think they did state from now on Yakuza is going turned based since Ichiban is the new protagonist of the series and Judgement will be the best em up

I figure if you liked the first, you'll like this one. Most of skillups complaints can be applied to the first game, and really any yakuza game.

Skillup´s review sold me more on Lost Judgement than any other review I´ve seen. Everything he listed as a negative is a plus for me.
