And the Lord Jesus Christ Himself comes from the family of the Holy King and Prophet David. So, this is an Orthodox chant that can be sung in different ways, the main thing is to praise the Lord God and repent of sins.
@@u-gz6su You don't need to teach me about my faith. You can play whatever you want in your church. In Orthodox churches musical instruments are not used during the service and during the prayer or chanting. Bottom line, this, shown on this video is not Serbian Orthodox chant, and it's misleading to say that.
@@cryptoinvader3161 No need to invent that I am teaching you about faith, let your priest teach you. I'm just talking about this chant, not teaching about faith. Why did you decide that in this video this Orthodox chant of the 135th psalm is sung during a service in the Serbian Orthodox Church? If in the Serbian Orthodox Church this chant of the 135th psalm is not performed on musical instruments during the service, this does not mean that it is not an Orthodox chant of the 135th psalm when it is sung on musical instruments. There are various Orthodox chants that are performed on musical instruments by Orthodox Christians or Orthodox priests outside of Orthodox Church Services. If an Orthodox Christian or an Orthodox priest sings chants about God on musical instruments on the street or at home, then according to your logic, these are supposedly not Orthodox chants, because musical instruments were used, regardless of the fact that these chants are performed and sung by an Orthodox Christian or an Orthodox priest? If so, then you are wrong. There are various Orthodox chants, church and non-church. If a chant is sung by Orthodox Christians, it is an Orthodox chant, whether it is sung in an Orthodox Church without instruments or outside an Orthodox Church with instruments, it is an Orthodox chant if sung by Orthodox Christians. Thus, the title of the video is correct - it is an Orthodox Serbian chant of Psalm 135, which is not sung during a service in a Serbian Orthodox Church.
