- This is a great tune composed by Bobby Macleod. I first heard it on a Natalie MacMaster album and fell in love with it. I'm still challenged by the Cape Breton "cuts" so forgive me for the lack of "crispness."

Great playing. I love the guitar rhythm.
Sure someone has told you this by now, but it's written by the late great Scottish accordion player Bobby MacLeod from the island of Mull in the Inner Hebrides, not too far from my ancestral home of Eriskay. Bobby wrote it in A, but it's often played in G. His original version has 4 parts, with a few Bb accidentals in the 4th part!
Never heard it played in A - on the Scottish session scene it's pretty much always played in G, I think. She's actually playing all 4 parts here...
Wow 😯🤩 amazing young kids real good players, keep up.
OMG!...Nothing short of BRILLiant! Thanks for posting...and please, do NOT stop posting!
Your takes are truly awesome! (Excellent accompaniment, BTW!)
First class playing on a really terrific reel. Well done. I've downloaded this to learn.
Completely awesome !! Well done !!!
You never disappoint, Patti!
Wow, this is really nice! I recently fell in love with this tune after hearing my favorite band play it. I'm 5 months into learning the fiddle and this one is on my (very long) list of tunes to learn, but I'm not quite ready for it yet.
You are amazing! Love it!
Lovely tune and playing :-)
Beautiful =)
