The founder of jainism is not Vardhamana Mahavira.. But he is the last/24th Tirthankara of jainism who brought the climax. Whereas the first tirthankara was Rishabhdev.

@@DeltaStepSo where did Buddhism and Jainism come first?

There are few facts missing also incorrectly explained
    1. Jainism is not new religion. We are sanatan and there for infinite times. Shri Mahavir was 24th tirthankar of Jainism for this time cycle. So Jainism didn’t come to replacement of Hinduism.
    2. When Siddhartha got out in search of truth. After many gurus from different sects, he got his diksha with Jain Sadhu(monk) but he couldn’t able to stay on the path of difficult tapa and then he left and started his own path. That’s why there are lots of similarities between 2
    3. Jainism is greatly spread across the globe but its spread and depth of understanding was vanished by cruelty during different times by rulers and their Hindu gurus. Including temples, followers and literature.
    4. All the literature in Jainism is in Sanskrit or Prakrit. Mainly Sanskrit but when Shri Mahavir was preaching he was using Ardha Magadhi/Prakrit for layman.
    5. Greatest philosophy of the religion is Ahinsa (no-violence) and Anekantvaad (multi faceted truth).
    6. Only community who always supported everyone is crisis irrespective of what they did or didn’t do for the community in past. No religions has/have provided that rooted sense of community.

My understanding was that Buddhism doesn’t reject God, it is just that the concept of a supreme being is irrelevant.

1+1=2 either god or not. and if 1+1=3 then ive corected my mistake of 1+1=2
either 1+1=2 or 1+1=3, both are being said, maybe one is true, maybe one isnt
a truth can be said without being a god

im more atracted by the extremism of janaism. im always curious how far Ahimsa and not causing harm to sentient being unnessesarily voluntarily
how diferent teaching , teacher, religion, offer diferent level of respect
i feel like buddhism is more mainstream , more accesible romantic, but i feel janaism is more strict focused serious
i feel attracted to janaism a bit more but didnt hear about it for a long time
(we hear buddhism in america way more often than jain)

Hinduism never promoted that only Brahmans and Kshatriyas can achieve Moksha, stop with the liberal propaganda. In fact in Buddhist Sutras it is often mentioned that a Boddhisatva is only born either a Brahman or Kshatriya and in fact this is what happened with later Buddhist Gurus.
