There's so much to take away from this conversation but for me one of the most beautiful moments was witnessing two men talk so openly about how it feels to be in love. It made me realise how little I had seen this in my life. We see women talk of being in love but rarely men. I so appreciate Patrice and Stephen being so open ... it really was so beautiful

Powerful interview. I am so impressed with Steven Bartlett, and how he is able to put people at ease with his questions and make them so comfortable that they are willing to share their most intimate secrets and pain with him. This is the second time watching him and the first time was his interview with Patricia Bright. I feel like Steven Bartlett, can be a great therapist and will be a great interviewer like Oprah Winfrey. His style, empathy, understanding, sensitivity, rapport and down to earth nature, puts people at ease. Awesome interview!

This has been my favourite episode in the 2 months I have started watching various episodes.
    Touching, moving, inspiring.
I don't like the term "toxic masculinity".
I am a woman who suffered from the same thing. You don't cry when you hurt yourself. So many suppressed emotions. So much hidden. Gradually over many years in adult life learning to be myself, actually learning, coming to know/trust who I am.
Your podcasts are helping me Steve. And I have been wanting to lead men to have the sort of conversations you had with Patrice. I am so happy to see men themselves leading the way on this.
And both of you exhibit self-belief and commitment to what you love and believe in in. Yes.
Realising that you are leading on everyone who listens in a journey towards more open and honest communication and sharing between everyone.

And I am scared every single day , that I will fail to give him that safe space that we all need , to be vulnerable and afraid and emotional . He is mixed race , and I have nightmares of people being racist towards him , so yeah , I want to be the safe space that I am sure he will need at some point of his life .

A child without a father is a very vulnerable person in the world. People tend to think they can do whatever they want to that child because they tend to think there is no consequence, there isn't anyone to be afraid of. And in most cases, mums are easily manipulated so the offender will often weasel their way out of any issues.

So many things, like there was basically no 'selling' of his book, but from just listening to that conversation I'm compelled to go and buy it. And as a fan I'm even more depressed about the current state of things, as when you hear from Evra, and when you had Rio on previously, you can see we're a million miles away from the standard and mindset Sir Alex instilled in the whole club. Wow! So powerful.. The depth in this podcast is unbelievable. The thing about masculinity is a difficult one. I often ask myself what it means to be a man and I often go back to this territorial behavior and being the protector etc, which clashes with letting go of your ego and letting things flow, which is obviously beneficial on a spiritual and mental level. I haven't found the right way to combine these two things. Does anyone have any insights?

He treats watching football as a job but loves playing the game and treats it like a job. Do what you love 😄 That is crazy. The Manchester talk is powerful. His start to man United is a great story

I don't watch a lot of TV but, I saw Freeze The Fear. When he said no to the challenge I've never felt so proud of a complete stranger. Such a moment for him. And an amazing lesson to everyone.

Super excited to watch, I have watched every episode since the beginning of 2020 on YT and Apple Podcasts and have learnt so much.
(I watch on both because honestly it’s a totally different experience and I actually find I pick up different things)
Tickets are on sale this week for the diary of a ceo tour live and I’m sooo worried I won’t get a ticket, everyone pray for me and also set your alarms to get yours!!

From a boy living some of life's worst experiences to a great man - what a journey and a fantastic example to the young of Senegal.. Sounds like his Mum was his rock too.

Thankyou from the bottom of my heart I am trying to make the bad decisions in my life right and this is a inspiration to motivate me even more. Silence has been a crime on my life and even for the people I love most .time to try and talk about the things I have been keeping closed in my sub conshush mind for many years.

Wow you 2 thank you so much. What beautiful examples of sacred masculinity you are. You may still have remnants, fibres of toxic masculinity inside you but you are leading from the heart and that’s where it all begins. The vulnerability, the depth and the self awareness you shared with us was beautiful and touched my heart deeply. What an amazing conversation, thank you ❤️❤️❤️
