Hello everyone, I’m Kasia Czolczynska and I work at JSC. I handle the Customer Service for JSC. If you get an email reply, it's more likely I am the person who answers your email. I also film JSC videos.
Some of you might know that JSC models have unusual hull construction. One of them is a triangle beam with frames slid on it. The triangle beam is typical for our passenger ships, especially those bigger ones. You can see this construction in Titanic/Olympic model. It looks like that. The beam and frames slid on it. In this video I’m gonna show you how we build such construction. Hope this will help you building your own model.

you can start mounting the frames starting in the middle, with frame 17, 18 or 19

join parts 28 and 29 together with the printed sides

I always cut out the longest parts first so any slips of the knife do not cut other parts. I label parts on the back in light pencil, then edge color, as necessary, and keep in a large ziplock bag until assembly. Sub assemblies often go in their own bags.

I find your ship kits to be amazingly detailed. I would love to try one but I also find them quite intimidating. You should do more videos like this. This video really helped me understand the process better. What kind of glue are you using in this video?
Hello, thank you for your comment. I will do more videos, yes. If you like to build any of our models, just write an email to us, or ask us on FB, in case of any problems. We will try to help! I use UHU glue for a hull construction. As the parts get smaller, I tend to use PVA glue
Przymierzam się do Waszych modeli już od dłuższego czasu, ale zawsze miałem obawy właśnie o ten szkielet... A że zapytam w takim razie, czy sztywność konstrukcji nie byłaby większa, gdyby na wzdłużną belkę nakładać wręgi podklejone na karton 1 mm? Czy zaburzy to w jakiś sposób oklejanie kadłuba?
Sztywność kadłuba przy tej konstrukcji jest zadziwiająca, naprawdę nic nie trzeba podklejać. Proszę poczekać aż nagram następny etap budowy szkieletu. Można sobie dokupić wręgi laserowe u nas, które mają ponad 1 mm grubości, ale one mają za zadanie jedynie przyspieszenie budowy, bo nie trzeba ich wycinać itp. Jest szybciej , ale nie mają one żadnego wpływu na sztywność konstrukcji. Modele JSC, bez względu na rodzaj konstrukcji są tak zaprojektowane, żeby nic nie trzeba było podklejać. Karton 1 mm jest niepotrzebny w naszych konstrukcjach. Pozdrawiam i proszę nam zaufać i spróbować tej konstrukcji :)

I really appreciate the JSC models for their qualities and also the fidelity compared to the real models. I recently bought on Ebay the 1/400 rms Queen Mary (1936) but I did not have the drawing that goes with the instructions written in English. Can you help me get the drawing and also the instructions in French if possible?

I have the 1 400 grad zeplin aircraft carrier an no English instructions an no pics of the hull I'm pretty good o figuring it out but even on jsc web page it shows pics of finished hull but not how to do it can some one help me out I looked every were

to na 100% jest to piracka kopia. Proszę zażądać od sprzedawcy zwrotu kosztów, ponieważ otrzymał Pan niekompletny model. Najlepiej jest kupować od wydawcy lub ze znanych sklepów modelarskich
