Alabama is one of the scarier teams UConn could face imo. They have 4 guys in Sears, Griffen, Walters, and Wrightsell Jr that shoot a ton of 3s and are a combined 269/644 on the year, 41.7%. I expect UConn to be a double digit favorite, but Bama can definitely play the role of spoiler if they get hot.
Wrightsell should be good to go against uconn. Stevenson had his best game of the season tonight. Wish his 3 point shooting was more consistent but he’s young. Nelson has hit some extremely clutch 3’s as well. I hope we can beat ‘em but honestly it’s all gravy after making the final4. Past two basketball seasons in particular have been extremely fun to watch as a Bama fan.

Clemson actually struggled vs Alabama's defense but when you start playing like your season is about to be over Clemson made some TOUGH three's but that's about it. Alabama defense had them BOTTLED up for the most part.

What's that supposed to mean do u realize that is a rivalry anything can happen and not only that they lost to a school that should of been in the tournament and on top of that in the last year or so have u noticed that outside the big east that uconn only lost once and that was against Kansas back in December in which the huskies wasn't fully healthy otherwise of are non conference opponents we have beaten was by double digits and it's not even close so yall bama fans can talk and talk all yall want to because yall don't scare nobody come on yall made 16 3s and only won by 7 FOH

UConn doesn't impress me at all outside of their 25 foot tall big man. UConn is slightly above average when he's on the bench.
If Bama can get him into early foul trouble, Bama can win thr game by double digits
Yeah, agree. Bama struggles against a dominant big man because they like to attack the basket and either get a layup or kick it out for a 3. You can take away the 3 and let the big man protect the rim. If Bama can attack the rim aggressively enough to either make some baskets and open the 3 or get the big man in foul trouble, they might have a chance but that's going to be a tall order....
What you said was if a guy who plays for UConn wasn't playing for UConn they would be an average team

Who you been watching? Fouling out Bama has had a bunch of games where 1 or more have fouled out this season. It was raining 3's. Bama hit 16 out of 36 a little under 50% from 3. U Conn beat us in the only other elite 8 appearance, we've avenged our loss to Clemson now maybe these kids can avenge that loss which happened before some of our team was born. Roll Tide!!! Happy Easter. He has Risen, God bless and many blessings guys. Lost games to Creighton, Purdue, Arizona, Clemson, and twice to Tennessee. How many of these teams have had a very good tournament? Sweet 16 had 6 of our losses. Roll Tide. Yeah we can win by 20 or lose by 20. Hopefully our 3's are falling at a very high rate.
I wish they could stop missing layups.

How to beat Bama (from a bama fan):
You "force us to beat you w/ 2's." The only way to attack us. We stay extended in our zone of choice most the night. We NEVer double anyone inside the 2 arc. all game long and make bama score more 2s than you knowing they don’t shoot middy's. Boom
If Bama’s bigs can beat us by post game and off rebounding 2 point put backs then hats off to bama
Easy as that. Every 3 taken needs to be rushed and contested. Dont crash guards on rebounds ever o stay on top of all perimeter threat kickouts from off boards. We outscore you in 2s and our 20 3 pnt attempts
The game will be close . All the double digit blowout leads is ridiculous. Just because connected did a 30 -0 run on Illinois doesn't mean that it's bound to happen to Bama. Bama has proven time and time again that they can catch up if they fall behind .
