On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

I took the plunge and jumped into DCS. The 50% applies to select modules, and then GS's codes will apply an extra 10% of one of them. I picked up F/A-18c, F5e, Supercarrier, and FC3. After doing a few touch-and-goes and a carrier landing in the Hornet, I feel like I should have bought more of them, lol. Now time to order HOTAS and rudder pedals. I'm hooked. 😂

Did I see you employing skidding in that last attempt at defending? Using opposite rudder from roll to cause the aircraft to skid in a less predictable manner than if you had used coordinated roll and rudder?

Tactically what are your thoughts on two things? 1. Use buildings to break track then push into merge. 2. He doesn’t know your down an AMRAAM. Push to the MAR then defend to force him to commit his last FOX3. Then your in same weapons state and can get a “fair” fight.

After years of following you, I still learn so much. Well, I am a slow learner so the repetition definite helps. Perhaps one of the most useful elements is your consistent referals to the MFDs, switches, dials and knobs and their functionality. Serves as a useful reminder as to why such elements are so useful.

I know how many people love the Hornet for all it's complexity, twin engines, high alpha capability and so on. And I used to really prefer the (legacy) Hornet over the F-16 when I was a kid (back in the 80's where the F-14 ruled supreme).
The older I get, the more I love the Viper over anything else. It's not rational, so don't attempt to argue with me 😂

What was the point in firing outside of your missles range indicator, honest question because I’m trying to see how far I can really shoot someone down when I’m in the hornet cus I’ll usually have to get within 20 miles for a guaranteed kill

I have no flew the super hornet but the legacy hornet radar is not as powerful as f16 where it picks up targets fast and acquire lock.
