Bucky is the most stable guy in the group, having defeated his demons in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier show. He will definitely be the glue that holds the team. Yelena will be the main character in this movie, and Bucky is surely going to survive this struggle against Sentry. I am also sure that Sentry will not be killed, but neutralized in some capacity. Valentina is also someone who will survive this. Taskmaster will die in that encounter in the bunker. Red Guardian most likely will die sacrificing himself for Yelena. I am not 100% sure Ghost and John Walker will live to the end of this, but they have better chance than everybody else except Yelena and Bucky.
I feel like based off the history of thunderbolts I’m not sure if they’re ready to kill characters off in the first go I think maybe red guardian makes sense but the other I’m not sure I feel like the need to make more so we can like them before they die
@@comicshelshocks based on two trailers that we saw, the only scenes where Taskmaster is present are in the bunker. The only other scene is when she is at the Avengers Tower, but that could be easily CGI’ed based on Marvel’s track record with deceiving trailers. In every other shots of the Thunderbolts group, Taskmaster is absent. Not a good sign. I have a hunch about Red Guardian biting the bullet because they will be focusing on his relationship with Yelena and its complexity according to David Harbor which makes me think that the ultimate way for him to prove that he truly sees her as a daughter and not some mission he was assigned in his youth if he sacrifices his life for her. Plus it gives Yelena an emotional void that remaining Thunderbolts can replace by offering her support and becoming her family. In regard to US Agent and Ghost, I am looking from the perspective of future Avengers movies. Do we need John Walker, a Captain America clone character, if we will have Sam Wilson in Doomsday? Plus, if he dies valiantly in the fight against Sentry/the Void, he will forever redeem his name and reputation as a soldier and patriot. Even in the first trailer he is visibly upset while reading article about himself, this shit hits him deep. He will never become another Captain America, but he can leave his own legacy, the legacy of US Agent, a valiant hero who helped to save New York from psycho supervillain (the Void). Same logic goes to Ghost, we have so many important and more interesting characters to set aside time in future Avengers movies I am not sure there is any room for her. But again, that is my speculation, for all we know, US Agent and Ghost can make it for Doomsday movie only to be killed in the opening scene by RDJ’s Doom on a mission or something, to build his hype.
Bucky is so cool. I love when he gets a little Winter Soldier-y. I'm also excited for Yelena.
