My favorite version of superman 2 is actually one my father taped from television a very long time ago. There was a scene of Lois making sufley, there were extra lines that weren't in the original, and in the end Superman actually destroyed the fortress of solitude. Happy to say I still have the vhs.
Thats the extended cut. It is now in the 4k and Bluray set. I love it too
This is great! Richard Donner's Superman is my all time favorite film, so listening to this while I meditate and sleep is perfect. I would love another Superman video, maybe based around John Williams' Smallville scenes?

Lots of Zimmer reinterpretations from MoS which is fabulous to hear but ...wow this is amazing. As soon as I heard the beginnings of "The Planet Krypton" I realised this was a John Williams' reinterpretation. Fortress of Solitude - absolutely beautifully done. And the slowed down 6:36.....oh my. Then we get into the Planet Krypton in full and then it loops .... you need to do the whole thing ! ;) Especially The Helicopter Sequence and To The Lair!!

Saw that new Flash movie trailer. Looks pretty good. Kara is in it. And I like Kara, but her showing up couple with Cavill being fired makes me think the DCEU is trying to shelve Superman for a while. Not sure if that's a DCEU I can 100% get behind.
The MCU was built from the Marvel benchwarmers, I know. Maybe James Gunn wants to pursue a similar tactic of bringing lesser knowns into the limelight. But DC is not Marvel in one very prominent way: You can't "not have" certain heroes. You can't "not have" Superman. Marvel doesn't have any heroes its universe revolves around like the DC stable. So you can do things like have Iron Man or Captain America be the focus where once upon a time we might've cared more about Spider-Man or the X-Men. But for DC, we must always care about Superman. He must always be the biggest name in the pantheon.
The Batman 2 is the only one that has my attention.
