Short eared owl - Humber Estuary (Dec 23)

Despite the minus 4 bitterly cold morning in East Yorkshire, I just had to get out with my camera. So pleased and even though the light was poor I was treated to a good 10 minutes with this SEO. A real beauty. Moral of the story get out whatever the weather, its great for your mental wellbeing.

What gorgeous shots of the short eared ow! Love his bright yellow legs....they show up like he's wearing waders. A treat to see.. Thanks for sharing the sights of this beautiful estuary with us!
