It really, really saddens me that English Canada doesn't know her (or doesn't care) just because she has a French name and people assume she sings only in French and that her music is not for them. I really think she doesn't have the visibility she deserves in her own country. She won..nobody claps because nobody knows her. And she deserves so much more. I hope those Junos will help her getting more domestic audience.

Dans un milieu francais, elle va bien le parler. Mais oui, elle a pu dire quelques mots. I'm an anglophone living in Montreal. On parle les deux langues.
Quand 99,9% du public qui regarde les Junos sont des anglophones du Canada qui en majorité vont la snober juste car elle a un nom francophone, je la comprend de s'adresser à eux uniquement en anglais pour agrandir son public partout au pays. Si on suit votre logique, faudrait qu'elle fasse une partie de ses remerciements en anglais à l'Adisq pour son public anglophone?
