Bingo. Its exactly why I can't stay on a plan long term. Motivation wears out and the consequences are too far away to be important at the moment and/or the consequences are not harsh enough to override the compulsion.
Wow! At the end Susan, your conversation with Julia spoke to my soul. I cried when you shared what Julia said about how she would lie and become rebellious. I differ in that I would lie and then immediately run away. I will send this to you hoping for more on how those like Julia and myself keep themselves on track. The shame around this has had me thinking I was the only one who would lie in a situation like this. I hope there are more who can relate-not just me and Julia. I have not done BLE for more than two weeks even though I get it and I believe in it as the answer. I’ve been privileged to watch my dear friend be so successful for OVER A YEAR! I’m so proud of her and happy for her success, and also that she shares her journey with me without judgment or pressure. we both realize our paths have been different. This feels so close to getting to my beginning by uncovering my shameful truth. Thank you so much SUSAN. I hope there’s more to follow. Terry
As a former 90 dayer, I totally relate to the “punishment” aspect involved in losing my abstinence. Glad I found you and Bright Line Eating. I know it works, don’t know if I can commit.
Hello there, I broke my BLE 1 week ago by eating so much extra fruits : guava, apple and pomelo when I was in fear of my sister’s health. I wanted to get back on track immediately but before the day ends, I started to search for fruits and veggies and enjoy 🥶. I could not control when I need to eat more. My body started to shake if I ignore. I started my BLE on 27 October 2019. I lost 7 lbs. Luckily I only gained 2 lbs for 1 week of overeating 🙏. I pray that I can get back 100% on track. My saboteur seemed to be very strong and it won continuously in this last week until today. Do you think I can get back on track and 100% BLE plan?
Susan it’s not true what your saying about what happens if you takeabreak.Your bad mouthing a programme that works for millions. Not so professional.Ok it didn’t work for you in the end but 11years of your life you need to say Thank God it got your through your toughest food binges.Maybe look at 12step programmes as a gift not how you phrase it .Not nice to bad mouth a group that helped you for 11 years!

Hi An! Absolutely we believe you can get back on track 100%! Take it one small step at a time!
good video. thank you.
Mind blown!
Brilliant
Can you share the link? I can't find it.
Hi, Geraldina! What link are you looking for? We'd be happy to help! 🔗
This is Genius!!!!!
Sounds like shunning.
Oh my goodness! I didn't realize 12 step food programs are so punitive!! So glad I found BLE as punishment would not work for me -- so shaming!!!!
❤️❤️❤️
Your original plan is too Catholic harsh for me. I don't need to be humiliated by my peers. Not a tool for me. Take what works and leave the rest.
