You can go to world editor, change it's attack swing time of 2 to 1 then add Frenzy and Berserk ability in it, then add a Level 3 Endurance, Bloodlust and Unholy Frenzy on top of it, it's a blast😂😂😂
I'd argue that impale is one of the best spells in the game. It can stun more units than any other spell, for a decent bit. Also hits squishy units in the back, unlike war stomp. I feel like mana on CL would be the best item choice possible, along with survivability.
The only problem with impale is that, though rarely, the cryptlord's ai can absolutely miss and land it on like, 2 skeletons or something, and Cryptlord NEEDS mana investment for it to be powerful, while some other heroes don't need much or any investment. That said, I agree. Impale is just shy of ultimate levels of power if landed perfectly, and can absolutely shift a game with a singular good impale, and unlike single target stuns, it just gets stronger as your opponent gets more and more units.

Do you think Mercenary units being added into the mix would add to the game? It feels like a handful of units are used on repeat, more variety might mix things up more. Maybe 1 to each tier or just mixed into the unit tables.
The armor vs evasion math is wrong. Evasion is better at high armor due to diminishing (percentage EHP wise) returns on armor. For low armor heroes like STR they want the first Ring of Protection.

What I like to do for the Crypt Lord to get tanky is to go spikes lvl1, then shop him a belt and max carapace asap. the extra armor from the passive is amazing.
Towards the end, the Crypt Lord was probably doing less damage altogether while he was summoning beetles. I know he had it off most of the time, but that thing was hitting like a truck.
Grubby from my experience it's much more efficient to buy a pendant of mana for non int heroes instead of 5/5 items like medallion. I'd suggest either evasion, pendant, ring, 3 belts or evasion, pendant, ring, 3 khadgars for Crypt Lord

22:18 evasion in warcraft 3 natively doesn't stack at all. Unless it was hardcoded to do so in this custom map (probably via a spellbook with hand-calc'd evasion values for a new ability for all possible evasion combos) then it won't stack here at all. Not additively, not multiplicatively, nothing at all.
There is no way to know if the third mine would have paid off - because if he had purchased it, then he would have had less power on his board - meaning the game may not have gone the same way.

I've been really enjoying the direct srike videos lately and have been thinking of trying it out myself since I'm one of the 10 or so delusional idiots who didn't ask for a refound when reforged came out. That beeing said, you have made some weird comments in the last few videos and I can't ignore them any longer. I don't know if you are just really bad at maths (I know that sounds really mean but please hear me out), or maybe this is a joke I'm not aware of, since I don't watch your streams, but you've been saying that controlling the middle is worth 6 mines worth of incomes, which I think is incorrect. From what I've seen in your videos controlling the middle part of the map only grants you 3 mines worth of income, since you aren't taking the money away from the enemy team. I'll try breaking it down below. If we want an analogy for this mechanic, I think it would be like two guys sitting down at a table with an apple in between them. If one of them grabs the apple, they now have 1 apple and the other guy has 0 apples. That is a difference of 1 apple, not 2. You have stated that since you are taking the mines away from the enemies they also lose out on the income, since the 6 mines difference. That is incorrect , because you are counting each of them twice. If this map worked the way you described it, the analogy would go like this: 2 dudes sitting at the table, each of them with 1 apple in front of them. If dude number 1 grabs the apple of dude number 2, then dude number 1 now has 2 apples, while dude number 2 has 0 apples. This IS a difference of two, however please note that this isnt how the mechanic actually works. If this is how the map worked you would go down to 90 gold per minute from 110 when you lose controll of middle. That would make your team's income 3x90=270 as opposed to your opponent's team of 3x110=330. This would make your statement correct (and would make the mechanic much more interesting imo), and would make your income appear red, as opposed to the neutral white. The real differnce betwee the two scenarios is the number of apples. In analogy number 1 there is exactly 1 apple up for grabs, aka the 10 gold per minute bonus that is literally sitting between you and the enemy team at the start of a mach. In the second scenario there are two apples that can be taken, each of them in possesion of one of teams at the start of the mach, which isn't the case here. In case this IS a joke and I'm just an unaware dumdum, than that would be really funny since I've already wasted 30 minutes writing out this bs instead of doing something productive. However if you really did miscalculate it all this time, then I WILL be going after you to AVENGE this BLATANT DISREGARD for basic mathematics. (love your vids, bye) ❤

Tinker rockets were better, but it's been nerfed more than once in Direct Strike, IDK which is better now.
