Setting aside your absolute Mastery of the Brush stroke, I am very appreciative of your “Factual” commentary, some artists talk gibberish, but you actually talk me through your project so that I have a very clear understanding of how you achieve such delightful results. Thank you.

Between your books (I have two of them) and your tutorials, I think I am finally learning how to paint watercolor. It’s hard to believe that in my 69th year I am doing something that not only challenges me but that brings me such joy and contentment. Thank you both (your wife as cameraman) for your patience and good cheer! Keep well and safe!

I loved watching you paint. This is so beautiful. You make it look so easy. I wish I could paint like you. I usually paint in acrylic but watercolor is my favorite. I am only a beginner and I just don't have the confidence to try watercolor. I have a small picture from my childhood that hung on my mother's bedroom wall that looks a lot like this picture. I saved it all these years and I want to try to paint it in acrylic. But just watching you makes me a little braver to try watercolor.

Love this one. Thank you for recommending aquiline brushes. Thought it could be another sales pitch, but actually they are as good as you described. As a beginner, have wasted a fortune on brushes, but I find these brushes also adapt to Acrylics as well as watercolour. Lovely sharp edges. Could not get them from local art shop but got them within 3days from your website. Thanks Charles jocelynkx

It looks fantastic, Charles. I am only starting out in watercolour but look forward to using some of your techniques. I heard goathair brushes are good but again they are quite expensive to purchase, however, you can get them in those same sizes or close to in Australia. As for the paints, I might add the sand and yellow ochre to my collection of about 8 colours, all of which you mentioned in this video. Thank you for doing it in real-time so we can see it step by step. I would love a link to some tips for beginners.
