I remember i tried playing wc3 online after i finally fot internet, built a lumber mill first (played tons of Tzar on my own and you really wanted a lumber mill in that game early) and got flamed so bad i basically never played wc3 online in pvp again
My first game was on RoC launch day, rushed home to install and immediately join 4v4. It ended up in a near-stalemate where 3 from each team were completely without units or defense, all gold on the map gone and spent, me with Blademaster only and one enemy just absolutely littered his side of the map with Orc towers. I had to WW through the gauntlet outside their base and slowly and methodically wear down enough of them in their main base that I convinced the enemy that I would eventually win at which point they finally left the game 🤣
I remember when I was 10 years old trying to play online for the first time in 4v4's. I hadn't even beaten the campaign yet. The help I got from teammates was them simply telling me I needed to build stuff lol
The funny thing is I haven't played this game since I was a kid, and I never learned how to play properly then, so I can't tell what you're doing to appear like a noob. For instance, as soon as I had the ability to make a Tauren, I would have. I don't know if that's good or not, but as a noob, I would have been excited to get my first big guy out. Also I don't think I would have killed any creeps except the ones guarding gold mines, and I probably would expand too early. I'd also get as many heroes as I could as fast as I could, but I'd be very slow at teching up. Also 4 peons in a burrow is better than just one, duh. I'd also go crazy on towers. If you want more noob tips, hit me up :P Also fun fact, "Grubby" was the one name that I remember people talking about, like 15+ years ago. Great to see you're still around!
since youve been doing wacky suggestions- heres mine. Workers are the boss. Every worker unit of yours is considered an MVP and if any of your workers die, you lose the match. Any units and heros can be used, any race can be used, but no workers must suffer any trauma, their pillows must be fluffed, and none of them should get too dirty or work too hard.
My first 1v1 I was probably 10 and had only played campaign with heavy cheats. I played on my older brother's account and my first message was "are you ready to lose?" My second message was "whosyourdaddy" which, to my sadness, did not work
I get the idea, but it's super bad. I play 2 vs 2 and it's really, really annoying to get ally a newbie. It's a total lack of respect from that newbie. As a new player, you should play vs computer, get the idea, watch tutorials, etc. Only then JUMP in multiplayer.
how is it a lack of respect lol. ppl play what they wanna play, it's not a new player's fault if the game can't matchmake them properly only with other new players. if you dont want to rely on random ally play with a friend. tho pretending to be a noob is a little too trolly

*Grubby i have a REAL Question* for you. For your HERO INVENTORY, what hotkeys do you use, to use your items from 1 to 6 Because the standard ones are NumPad and are horrible to get there fast for me, what do you do, to be so fast (apart from being a WC3 GOD)
