I love this MV. The absence of performance makes it very cinematic and completely suits the subject matter, the exploration of grief. Reckless and self sabotaging behaviour, isolation, dissociation and the constant fight between wishing to forget and being fearful of forgetting, it’s deep and very real. Beautifully shot and acted, but I never expected anything else. I’m glad Minho was involved in each step including the editing room, you can tell it’s been created with his love for cinema and storytelling. Congratulations Minho, Chase is exactly as you desired. It’s true to who you are as an artist, as a SHINee member and it’s a beautiful gift to SHINee World. With this album, another piece is added to the SHINee Universe: forever moving forward, always remembering what came before and infinitely entwined as 5, with love.
I love how this music video focuses more on story than like I'm putting dance into it. Its great to dance in an mv but its rare to see a singer-actor artist who focuses more on just the cinematography of the MV. Rather than just expecting half the MV to be choreo, there's a story for you to focus on. And it doesn't build up over time like it's own storyline. This MV is it's own individual episode. Other groups focus so much on a storyline they started at debut and it gets hard to keep up with. I appreciate the amount of work Minho puts into a small MV. I feel like I've just watched a K-Drama in the span of 4 minutes. Minho's a great actor, and there's a large amount of emotion put into his work through slight changes in facial expressions. It's not just keeping a straight face throughout the MV and calling it acting
I know the SHINee members said that certain things don't matter to them, and they don't want us stressing over it either, but still seeing it on this MASTERPIECE is disappointing. Minho deserves so much more. He's worked so hard! Let's go, Shawols!! Give the man some love! This solo debut is incredible, and I am so proud of Minho! I love how every SHINee solo has its own style and flavor, they're all different but they go so well together. I also love the fact that they all insist and doing what they like and that they take part in the creative process whether it's the concept, songwriting, lyrics, dancing or MV directing ! I think it really shows and it always ends up being high quality, Chase is no exception ! The MV, the song, the vocals and the choreo are all so beautiful ! It really showcases Minho's skills as an actor, a singer, rapper, dancer and even as a movie director ! This was definitely worth the wait !

Okay, seriously. How is it possible that all five SHINee members are SO talented and such gifted, hard working artists? No misses. Perfection every time. Also, is there anything Minho can't do. This is such a gorgeous music video. I love that he brought his acting skills here. It makes for such a stunning watch! The visuals, vocals, song, aesthetic, everything is so high quality!! I'm in love and I need more, more, more and more Minho. I feel so thankful he's come to share his artistry with us and he's so beautifully completed the SHINee puzzle piece. A couple years ago, after Key had his solo debut, Minho got a question along the lines of, "When are you releasing a solo album?" Minho's response was that he knew fans were anticipating it, but he had no plans to do so because he felt lacking and he needed to grow a lot before he could. He overcame his insecurities enough to share this with us in December 2022. My pride is overwhelming and I am crying. Not to mention that he sounds great. My boy did it! He did it!!!!
The fact that he wanted this to be like a mini movie, shows the passion he had for his solo debut. Minho is amazing and I'm glad we get to listen to his voice and see his acting chops.

I lost my Mom back in October so it's a hard Birthday but as always, be it as a group or each of your solo careers a member of SHINee gave me something to look forward to and smile about. 영상 화보가 따로 없네... 촉촉한 목소리와 눈빛 연기가 좋네요. 난 샤이니 멤버들이 보여주는 공격적이지 않은 모습을 좋아하는데, 이 뮤비에서도 상처 입을지언정 남을 공격하지는 않는 모습이 마음에 들어요. 성인이지만 상처받은 소년같은 모습이 심금을 울리네여ㅠ.ㅠ 뜨끈한 국밥 먹인 뒤에 빡빡 세수 시켜서 뜨뜻하게 보일러 틀어놓은 아늑한 방에 포근한 이불 목 끝까지 덮어주고 한숨 푹 재워주고싶은 그런 느낌.
I am not even a Shawol or a fan of Minho, but i really like this mv and this whole album. I have been listening to this album a lot since it's been released. The music he makes is exactly my taste and his voice is so amazing.
I've never heard of this kind of vibe and atmospheric song exploring loss and grief this way :') Once beautiful memories can be haunting now because it has become painful to remember. And no matter what we do, we can't get out of it. We squirm our way from this headspace until it, at the very least, feels gradually bearable. I love how it concludes in an open-ended sort of way, as if there's no solid resolution because those feelings will never go away, just that you'll discover several more ways to overcome it when it surfaces again. The reason why I love Shinee's Area, which Minho also worked on with all his heart, is because there's that similar intention of exploring the darker moments of your life that creeps in without notice and that sometimes, we have to go through with it helplessly in order to overcome it somehow. Over and over. It's realistic. This is a realistic song that anyone would find relatable in any shape or form. It's interesting that Minho, being dubbed as "Flaming Charisma," debuts with such a cold yet emotionally-haunting song. We can tell just how he'd not only worked hard on it, but finally showed everyone just how profound he could be. He had written and co-written so many songs in Shinee but it's yet to be recognized by many. Such a multi-talented king, flamers are so proud ✨
i wasnt expecting this kind of sound, but i really like it. it suits minho quite well. It still, after all of these years, amazes me just how vocally talented every single shinee member is. and the fact that their solo puzzle is finally complete makes me so happy. i am so proud and i will be a shawol forever.
I like SHINee and respect them a lot. As a group they are amazing, and as a individual also they are amazing. As a SHINee they showcase the power and strength of unity. And as solo they bring out their own colour. I'm very happy that SHINee decided to do solo when they found what they really want to do as a individual, and after finding their individual colour to show. And this made their solo even more better and enjoyable for us. Bc now they r the main pillars of their solo they r involved in the album production and we can clearly see in their solo albums

I have been stanning Minho since I entered K-Pop 12 years ago. I feel so proud of him being my ultimate bias because he has worked so hard to get the recognition he deserves, but always staying humble and thankful towards his fans. I really really really love the album, the MV, all of the imagery around this work. LOVE IT. The more I listen, the more I watch, the more I love it. Every time I watch the MV I uncover more information about my own grief and my own process of recovering. People who haven’t had the ground ripped out from under them, who have not had everything they believed in and trusted destroyed in the blink of an eye probably won’t understand. They will one day. It happens to all of us eventually. It’s universal. The song is sung so gently, with love and with sensitivity. It’s a kind song for people in a really tough situation. Truly so well done.

영상 화보가 따로 없네... 촉촉한 목소리와 눈빛 연기가 좋네요. 난 샤이니 멤버들이 보여주는 공격적이지 않은 모습을 좋아하는데, 이 뮤비에서도 상처 입을지언정 남을 공격하지는 않는 모습이 마음에 들어요. 성인이지만 상처받은 소년같은 모습이 심금을 울리네여ㅠ.ㅠ 뜨끈한 국밥 먹인 뒤에 빡빡 세수 시켜서 뜨뜻하게 보일러 틀어놓은 아늑한 방에 포근한 이불 목 끝까지 덮어주고 한숨 푹 재워주고싶은 그런 느낌.

This is a masterpiece. I just love how Minho made me feel various emotions in just a span of 4 minutes---like wow.
I've never heard of this kind of vibe and atmospheric song exploring loss and grief this way :')
Once beautiful memories can be haunting now because it has become painful to remember. And no matter what we do, we can't get out of it. We squirm our way from this headspace until it, at the very least, feels gradually bearable.
I love how it concludes in an open-ended sort of way, as if there's no solid resolution because those feelings will never go away, just that you'll discover several more ways to overcome it when it surfaces again.
The reason why I love Shinee's Area, which Minho also worked on with all his heart, is because there's that similar intention of exploring the darker moments of your life that creeps in without notice and that sometimes, we have to go through with it helplessly in order to overcome it somehow. Over and over.
It's realistic. This is a realistic song that anyone would find relatable in any shape or form.
It's interesting that Minho, being dubbed as "Flaming Charisma," debuts with such a cold yet emotionally-haunting song. We can tell just how he'd not only worked hard on it, but finally showed everyone just how profound he could be. He had written and co-written so many songs in Shinee but it's yet to be recognized by many.

i wasnt expecting this kind of sound, but i really like it. it suits minho quite well. It still, after all of these years, amazes me just how vocally talented every single shinee member is. and the fact that their solo puzzle is finally complete makes me so happy. i am so proud and i will be a shawol forever.
I like SHINee and respect them a lot. As a group they are amazing, and as a individual also they are amazing. As a SHINee they showcase the power and strength of unity. And as solo they bring out their own colour. I'm very happy that SHINee decided to do solo when they found what they really want to do as a individual, and after finding their individual colour to show. And this made their solo even more better and enjoyable for us. Bc now they r the main pillars of their solo they r involved in the album production and we can clearly see in their solo albums

Watching Minho's MV feels like watching a great movie
The fact thats he's literally made it obvious without actually making it obvious or saying what that actually is.. has me in my feels. I'm not even gonna say what that is because all you gotta do is read the subtitles/lyrics, read his facial expression, and the hints that lay within the video. I really really really love the album, the MV, all of the imagery around this work. LOVE IT. The more I listen, the more I watch, the more I love it. Every time I watch the MV I uncover more information about my own grief and my own process of recovering. People who haven’t had the ground ripped out from under them, who have not had everything they believed in and trusted destroyed in the blink of an eye probably won’t understand. They will one day. It happens to all of us eventually. It’s universal. The song is sung so gently, with love and with sensitivity. It’s a kind song for people in a really tough situation. Truly so well done.
