I am always impressed how Americans take care of their heritage and history. This is a great reflection of that. We have more historical landmarks in Europe but their relative value is much less in the eyes of public. You can easily see thousand years old Greek/Roman structures sitting totally unprotected in the middle of the cities in many Balkan countries. I cannot imagine what kind of museums Americans would build around these. Thank you for sharing.
Love the glass screen. Beautiful sitting room and Dining Room. Great Kitchen and Butler's Pantry. Loved the bedrooms and Timber finishings. I really loved all the atic windows as when the house heated up they would open the windows to release the heat. Loved the garden. Jennifer has given us an amazing tour of Mr Gamble House. Beautiful craftsman style house with a cool asian accent. Awesome lighting and interesting the kitchen bulbs are not enclosed so more light. Did not know how craftsman houses 2nd floors were traditionally lighter colored. Even the attic is stylish. The grounds exquisite too. Enjoyed the tour of the Gamble house.
