If you do customize the figure, I'd love to see how it turns out.
This could definitely be the cheap-o replacement for those who can’t afford the bigger one all it needs is a good paint job and it should look just as good.
I have the smaller set and I love it, I got it for roughly 20 dollars and there is almost no scuffing, easily paintable, and just fun to play with. The only main problem is the size. But for a young kid, it’s pretty much perfect.
I bet Mission Fleet Boba would scale with this.
The 5-point boba fett feels more like he is illustrated in modern comics, while the other feels more like it's movie accurate,
I would love to see you custom paint job on the figure!!

I love that your backyard lends well to desert background. I have a sand pit that was the base for an old above ground pool that works well for photos. i have the Lego version of Slave 1 that is between the two sizes.
I have the 2015 version on my wall.
Great comparison. So glad I was able to get the Vintage Slave 1. Too bad some people will try to scam buyers by selling the cheaper on at crazy prices. Keep up the great work!

Dan-O you can articulate his wrists by cutting off his hands, drill holes in arm and hand and use wire or cut paper clip. Glue it into hand side since it'll be in hand less far then arm

This is actually my favourite Slave 1. It’s actually playable and is more then just a display piece like the other giant ones. Wish I bought it for 15 bucks way back when now my cheapest local listing is $100 :|
The first bigger version of slave one is from the clone wars line of figures, not episode two. Whoever told you that doesn't know their star wars stuff very well.

The figure looks really good to me. Ship is a bit small, but still good. It's something I could see a kid being able to really play with. Also, something that could really get customized easy enough.

Yup but so wrong for ROTJ. To be fair it's wrong in Mandalorian too cos it doesn't look like ROTJ version. The Sarlacc pit is a time portal? 😉
