That's the base version with 145 BHP, the Tourismo has 165 and the Comp has 178 I had 4 of them, the first had 135 BHP, then they raised it to 140 the last had, like this one, 145, loved all of them.
Interesting that. I had two new, 2012 with 135 then 2015 with 140. I regret trading that one in, it was a fantastic car. Its now 2024 and cashing my pensions in and want a fun car, might be tempted.
I have the same model, It the 145 BHP, CV, But to be honest, Before purchasing it, I test drove the Turismo and the comp, The difference is not much, I only noticed the Exhaust was louder in sport modes with the Monza Exhaust, Low-cost mods I would recommend are to Delete the recirculation pipe and get your self any 25mm Breather filter to put on the Recirculation valve, Cost like 8 quid on eBay, Then block off the Breather end going into the Airbox, This will give the Pshhhhh Dump valve sound, You can get more expensive valve replacements but to be honest the sound isn't much better, I think the only complaint i have with it, is the Seat is too high, There are lowering kits but i think even with those it will still be a bit high lol.
Hey man!! The sound system is pretty good i ain't gonna lie haha but yeah the road noise is tiny bit loud but not enough for you not to buy the car.. it's actually decent.. you get to hear the awesome sounding exhaust!
Very true very true.. i think my first impression coming from driving high end german performance cars with all the fancy tech and fancy interior to a small pocket rocket.. big difference but driving it more often, i see the saving costs on interior has actually made the car better.. less weight = more fun 😆
Just watched this, very good. But I have a Range Rover, 911, Golf, they are all full of plastic inside. Odd bit of leather but basically plastic everywhere.
I shall disagree with most of this. I had the 135 version with 16 inch wheels and also the 140 version with 17 inch wheels. No problem on any road surface. The new Yaris hybrid has worse suspension and thats supposed to be a bit fancy.
Brilliant video mate, thank you. Picking up a Abarth monster this week.
I think that model is 140bhp, still fun regardless. Abarth sell a 158bhp model with the same turbo, so you’ll get a lot out of a remap or tuning box!
Defo going in for a remap soon!
Yeah I noticed that too, there is a 180ps model, but that's not this one.
Nice video, definitely worth upgrading that exhaust 😉 you won't regret it
Exhaust work is coming sooner than you think 😉😋
Mate, that's hands down the best Abarth review I've yet seen. Cheers!
Awesome!

Very nice video, I have a question, a t jet 500 is an original abarth?
I can tell you had fun in this car 😂.
100% the handling is insane!!!!
@@Sa3Tv I'm a huge fan of the car :)
hey dude :) i wanted to ask if the basic sound system is good ? And also if the road noise is so much that you get tired of ?

@@Sa3Tv thank you so much for answering ! Tomorrow i am going to buy a 595C competizione it is used but only have 1750 km on it !
@@flipflopsrl5578 defo stay tuned for the channel 🙌 gonna be modifying the abarth 🔥
I bet the mrs is loving the abarth now! When you mapping it?
Not sure atm bro. Maybe next month or month after :)
With regards to the plastic, would you rather they spend money on performance or on fancy interior materials.

Not a fan of plastic, what else do you expect wood / timber 😂
Timber would be nice
140 BHP in standard T jet form which is what that is.
🙌🙌 baby rocket

True true going back to it I kinda agree with you! And he’s the new Yaris set up is not great! Lool
@2:52 It doesn't look cheap and you don't caress it all the time. 😉
