Welcome to Pibby Corrupted!
This mod has been in this making for well over 2-3 year's at this point, and this is the new version 1.5 which is being released while we continue to work on the full v2, you can still play the old version if you like (what's wrong with you?).

Friday Night Funkin' is a Newgrounds rhythm game made in HaxeFlixel originally created for Ludum Dare 47. Programmed by ninjamuffin99 with a soundtrack produced by Kawai Sprite and artwork created by PhantomArcade and evilsk8r, the game can be played on Newgrounds or played/downloaded for free on Itch.io.
The plot of the game centers around Boyfriend trying to hook up with Girlfriend, but her ex-rockstar father Daddy Dearest doesn't approve of him. It's up to Boyfriend to rap battle his way through him and anyone else that stands in his way so that he can finally get freaky! Think you got what it takes?
Friday Night Funkin' is an ongoing project that will continue to receive updates, bug fixes and new content. A full version of the game is currently in development, having been successfully funded via a Kickstarter campaign. Check the changelog here for information on the latest updates. I like how theres a consistent narrative that steven is able to resist the corruption in some way even if it's minor and although there may be different reasons i like the idea

i like that steven blames pibby for the cause of the glitch.

I love how the new intro is an assimilated Steven recalling the past but i feel like he's not even there anymore, he's been hijacked(blank eyes, which can convey no sense of individuality, the substance is leaking out of his eyes, mouth, nose,the constant smiling, probably override of nervous system, his body is in the sense 'alive' since it can still actuate his powers), and the Darkness is using mimicry to try to get sympathy before spilling the beans that it's actually a monster, the thing that's taken his body is just talking through his voice lines, it's given his body its properties(it glitches out randomly, like it's not able to perform normal operations without messing up) and its voice seems to have the glitchy effect, hinting that it's talking through his body. It's really terrifying to think that it can swallow someone up and leave behind a puppet to its influence and the tone of the song stands behind that, it sounds ghostly, almost disturbing even and Steven spitting out those voice lines sounds more like the Darkness mocking Steven's character peogression before breaking out of that into the trademark wide grin and empty eyes as it continues to use his empty shell more.
the lore is crazy but what you made really showed his ACTUAL personality inside the precious soul steven is.(dont be angry but i never watched steven i think)
Tbh, seeing Steven is bad in so many ways, because since we’ve so many times that Steven is extremely insecure, it’s bad enough for him to be fighting the darkness off since the darkness could easily manipulate him. Especially since Steven is extremely strong, that’s also really bad.

I feel really bad for Steven EVEN tho he’s a fictional character here’s why:
Steven when he was a meer child lived without a mother and his mother is rose quartz/pink diamond and she had to like fuse into Steven to like let Steven exist her physical form is gone but her kindness and respect is in Steven’s heart that’s why Steven is like one of the most wholesome and kindhearted characters in CN and when he 12-13 he got kidnapped by aliens/gems LIKE every gem wanted him dead bc they though he was like REALLY rose quartz so jasper kidnapped him and PUNCHED HIM AND GAVE A CHILD A BLACK EYE and just imagine your a meer child with no mother and you can’t go to school and a whole alien race is trying to get you bc of YOUR MOTHER WHO LEFT YOU TO DEAL WITH YOUR PROBLEMS and his traumas didn’t even help him to learn from them and he saw pearl get stabbed in the chest and garnet getting destabilized by jasper and THAT WAS RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM and so he got kidnapped to home world and white diamond (the creator of all gems and she’s kinda like a queen) she’s VERY tall and VERYYY POWERFUL so she took Steven grabbed him RIPPED OUT HIS GEM OUT OF HIS STOMACH 💀 that’s just crazy and he couldn’t even stand up right and walk and all got those traumas came and when Steven was 16 the spinel movie he ALMOST GOT KILLED AGAIN by spinel hanging him by a 80-100 meter ledge and he fell but he got his powers back so he levitated overpowered spinel bc of his kindhearted soul and all of those traumas came back to him as a 17-18 year old and he became so traumatized and GOT A LOF stress and anxiety and he was scared if his friends and family would change and leave him
And he shattered jasper💀 and lodged WHITE DIAMONDS HEAD INTO A WALL bc he got flashbacks when she ripped out his gem
And the episode when he turn into a HUGE monster or corrupted by his emotions he said “You have no idea how bad I am, you guys think of me some angel or mature but IAM NOT THAT KID ANYMORE I haven’t learned any of my problems(traumatic memories) THEY JUST MADE WORSE…. I’m a fraud.. im a fraud I-IM A MONSTERR” so yeah then he became corrupted into his emotions and he was destroying EVERYONE I mean like lapis, garnet, pearl, amethyst, peridot, even the cluster, white diamond, yellow diamond, blue diamond and one more like the blacksmith so they almost like used plans and they helped their own powers and made themselves huge to hug and support Steven and hug him tightly and give him some comfort and confidence
Yeah he became normal and actually happy but in the pibby universe that changed tremendously 😑😑🙂↕️🙂↕️
