❤❤❤Dusty ❤️❤️❤️ What an absolutely beautiful archive capturing just how special and unique the Great Miss Dusty Springfield was from the very first to the very last performance. Those pipes and presence couldn’t be held to just one genre! She soared thru them all. This is an outstanding and top notch tribute!! Thank you so much 🙂
@@gregmoore7709 why half her photos her head is tilted to one said she hated her right side I think could be her left her childhood was not all that good her father would call her ugly her self harming started at a very young age
She was such a giant talent. And so silky sexy. What a range. From "Wimoweh" (Sure looks like Pete Seeger on her right) to "I Can't Get Started" (Shame they omitted the "Franklin D. used to say 'Hi buddy' to me'" line from Frank's original). At least one from "Memphis" would've made it perfect. Plus I just realized what kindred spirits she and Christine Perfect McVie must've been.
Did an interesting version of a Motown original - Ain't No Sunshine (Since You've Been Gone), previously recorded by Gladys Knight & The Pips, and The Temptations, both recording their vocals over the same pre-recorded Motown backing track, The Temptations' version on their 1967 album The Temptations With A Lot Of Soul, and the Gladys Knight version on the Everybody Needs Love 1967 album. I may have put the brackets in the wrong place.
Beautiful unmistakable vocal tone. 17:49 probably the best interpretation of this Bacharach & David classic.
Wow

It’s a shame there are no broadcast dates attached to each clip.
Dusty was dynamite!
My only objection is your intro has two words too many - namely, "one of" :-) Dusty was the greatest of her time and of all time.
LOVE DUSTY BUT THAT OUTFIT HAS TO GO IT DOES NOT DO DUSTY JUSTICE.
