I sent them a support suggestion that they should make it such that you can combine different drones, but you'd get some kind of explicit "set bonus" for using 3 distinct drones of the same class. Just to make it clear if using the same type in all 3 slots gives an extra bonus. Likewise, would be good if could use titan transforms when mixing different titan weapons but we could get an extra explicit bonus/ability for equipping all from the same set. Hope they implement at some point. Makes sense to me anyway...
Seriously hope they go the way of equipment and get rid of the reset cost on drones. It’s a bitch to play situationally, e.g. LH vs SS. I’m afraid to give them ideas in the suggestion box lest they charge to reset equip too.
@doctunes3335 you hit it on the head. I love to play titan, legion boss, missions, and endless with burning drones. Recoils for Star Scramble and planet wars only. It's can cost 1200 diamonds a day, switching back and fourth too do both events with the right drones. It's a dimond eater along with the right tech setups.
I thought the drone attack+ and HP+ X% can be activated by collecting each of the all 9 sets and keep upgrading them to receiving higher combination stats, it is similar to physical and energy defense stats to the pilot system, so I was wrong to keep buying and try to collect all 27 of em....
@roy1015 You are not wrong but doing It the very expensive way. I kinda messed up a bit myself. Really to save money and to get all of your bonuses, you should max out the N drones first. Get your stats and sell them for the Rs. Max those stat, sell thise and move the the SRs. I was not sure how it was working when they first came out, but knew the SR would be the most powerful . I did not realize you could keep your combo stats and levels even after selling. I would have done it the way I just explained doing it all over
My dumb ass asked my legion vice this question twice, but consensus is no. Also I’ve messed around with it quite a bit. If you auto select them, I think it just places highest BP in left most position. But no configuration changes BP or damage as far as I can tell.
@playtime4565 I'm still on the fence with the same 3 recoil drones as a set. If I had to mix them, Fornax, grus and apus... But. In this video it also proved that Pavo is way way stronger than everyone is giving it credit for. I still want to do more mix match comparisons but will wait until next planet wars. Side note. All burning drones for outside of Planet Wars and Star Scramble.
Why you said start from N R then SR better? You can start working backwards too? Unless on the way of refresh to get SR drones you will max N and R first. Overall cost is down?

@chuckdee82 it's soooo tough to do countless combos. I do want to maybe make another video and I was not expecting to beat the player either. I could not believe how hard apus actually hit.
@S2pidMedia as you heard me in the video, the drones are cool, but the players worh a better gem and pilot setup, making those drones even better. I cannot emphasize that enough, so don't feel too left out. The skills you stack on your drones are just as important, such as stacking shields....
7:33: you are MISSING the point here, these passives STAY forever* regardless of what you are using in the battle. *forever means if you suddenly won't lose connection then even your drones aren't equipped and you have to relog twice to fix everything back.
@eve017 not sure what that means or where you find the need to say that. I never once in the video say you lose any passive skills. That makes no sense.
@@WingFighterTalk those paisve stays forever in the combination, they increase once you evo drones higher, but won't loose that bonus if you are going to use hybrid setup
hint3: for pvp: read active skill of apus and grus ;) pavo is useless if you dont have MAXED out tech and 5/5 plane, not to mention gems sorry but i am living in this HELL of ss and pw where asians got 80-90 aa and can't even take 5% of their health even with magic recoil
@eve017 as you saw when I armed paco, it's did massive damage. I don't see how you can say that's true when it's on video factually taking the player out not even intending to.
@eve017 Well, I used pavo on purpose. If it is weak, we should have seen the attack not as effective. When added just to a single recoil, it did so much damage, I did not even mean to beat the player, so I don't see how that is true. It blew my burning drones out of the water by themselves. It absolutely majorly helped the other recoil and fornax stack. There are no ifs and / or buts.

Max the rs out and sell them for the Sr. I just did not know how it worked when they first came out and already had invested a ton of time on the Sr drones.

Hell I’ve been too cheap to rotate tailored tech haha. After today’s chat in legion discord, I’m thinking of evenly leveling recoils & burners.

You should try out formax, Grus and apus. That is a good set.
