Yeah like the comment above says. You’d have to refer to the Incredible Hulk movie. A drop of blood is all it takes, as evidence by the leader when the blood hit his head. When Stan lee drank it tho, it seems he died so it doesn’t always grant abilities.
Bruce turned into the HULK ….ON A SUBCONSCIOUS LEVEL….and almost INSTANTANEOUSLY! For him to be UNCONSCIOUS and bleeding…is a stretch EVEN DOCTOR RICHARD of the Fantastic FOUR couldn’t do!! 😂😂😂
That first transformation was pretty underwhelming to be honest. Would’ve been better to actually be able to see it instead of through a reflection, plus it only lasted like five seconds. Since it’s her first transformation i’d imagine she’d be in a lot of pain from it.
You almost got to love how they treated Jen getting her hulk powers as if it were AIDS somewhat - and by love, I mean "totally disgusted & greatly disappointed."
Wait? A little bit of blood turns anyone into a Hulk? That's so dumb, give that stuff to soldiers incase another Thanos shows up. What's next you gonna tell me that Thor can give anyone Thor powers at anytime?
There's precedent for the drop of blood though. In The Incredible Hulk movie a drop of Bruce's blood falls into a bottle of soda and kills an old man when he unknowingly drinks it (Stan Lee's cameo for that movie). The reason it doesn't kill Jen is because they're related and there's something in their genes that mutates instead of killing them.
It gave her powers because of their genetic similarities since they’re closely related. It was stated in this episode. Bruce’s blood would just give most people radiation sickness with only a few exceptions of people who would either not be affected or gain powers.
Show is about feminism and deals with catcalling and unfair stereotypes against women. Changes She-Hulks Origin from being shot to her crahsing a car. Nice Job Marvel! The writers changed her backstory from one of taking a bullet for her ideals to one of the most cliché stereotypes against women possible. They literally made her backstory sexist.
@@timdaugherty4014 The point is less about comic accuracy and more that the show pads itself on the back for it's depiction of the unfair treatment of women, only to then serve the stereotype of women being bad drivers.
You do realize that any thing that doesn't have misogyny, sexism and patriarchy automatically becomes feminist, right. So Marvel has been feminist since a long time (with a few exceptions). Here is the thing, Jennifer Walters is a woman living in the 21st century, in this story. And her story has some of the day to day experiences of a woman living in this time. That adds to Banner's character, it gives Jen interesting reasons to be both thankful and bitter, and makes their relationship more interesting. This show is emblematic of post-endgame Marvel - everything missing the mark in such obvious ways you wonder if they even gave the scripts a goddamn second draft.
