This is one of the songs that I love from the bottom of my heart but don't listen to privately because the studio version alone is not really good in my opinion. This song was carried by the insane live performance, the voice of Loic and just the power and energy it has when it is performed live.
Belgium should have won easily that year. They were the best, but Countries like Sweden get a lot of free points from Norway, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. They always vote for each other. Where Belgium gets no such support. It is pretty lame but that is the song contest for you, border politics over song appreciation.
