Well yeah. I think one small mistake was magnified too much. And it was the mistake of that ceramic guy. I only mentioned it because how glaringly misinformed that guy was!
No total thichness from bare metal to clear coat of paint ( primer , many antirust coatings , basecoat , pearlcoat , clearcoat ) all thickness is 100 to 120 microns max. Due to costcutting of companies so the thickness of paint is 20 to 30 mm 1000 mm = 1mm

No, paint's thickness from metal to the final coat should be around 110-120 microns, Indian standard. germans goes upto 170-180. Idk about ceramic or ppf. 8 to 10 microns is nothing brother.

Hi, No ceramic coating/PPF has no overall heating or cooling impact on the car. Also it does not impact manufacturer’s warranty in any case. Most of the car dealers are providing such services as well (but not doing a great job at it). So always get your car protected from an authorised detailer only. As for the interiors, plastic parts and leather can be protected with ceramic coating.

I hear that Ceramic is applied on top of PPF and not the other way around but here you seemed to have applied first ceramic and then PPF. Does PPF stick well on top of the Ceramic surface?
No, in case if some paint is peeled off when taking out the ppf, it won’t get damaged so easily. Ceramic coating is like adding one more layer on your paint to provide some protection from dust, swirl marks, mild stone chipping etc. this usually does not happen but in case if something comes off along with the ppf, the ceramic coating would be taken off and your paint won’t be damaged
Did he say OEM paint is 6-7 microns? And ceramic coating is 10-15 microns? That’s very misleading. In fact, that’s incorrect. OEM paints range between 120- 200 microns (which includes the primer, base coat and the clear coat). I think he’s confused between millimetres(MM) and microns. Then too there’s no ceramic coating in existence that is thicker than OEM paint.

Please let us know the name of well known detailers in Delhi for both ppf and ceramic a part from Ceramic pro if price is a concern for customers. No doubt ceramic pro is the oldest and the one who started this concept but they are expensive too. I am asking this because I have got PPF done in by ignis and ppf + ceramic on my hector and both was done from 2 different vendors. Firstly, Congratulation for your XUV700. Big Appreciation to the Ceramic Pro Teams for informative knowledge shared regarding Ceramic coating and PPF. I need to ask one questions , I had an old car Polo VW model 2012, now car having many scratch’s and paint is also got fade. Someone suggested me to do Paint restoration and after that do ceramic coating. So let me know shall I go for it and Is CeramicPro team having any office or shop in Nagpur , MS.
I've applied Ceramic Coating on my SUZUKI Gixxer SF bike which was from SuperCeramic brand which can be found on RUclips. My experience was I did foam wash and wiped all panels. Later applied 2 layers of Ceramic Coating. What happened is it reacted at a small part of my fuel tank and made it look full and everything around was glossy. Later that part started removing paint like small dots. Which the service center guy said is it's a chemical reaction that created such paint deformation. So it's 1yr already. My black bike looks as black as earlier but small likes like dry wipes are visible easily under sunlight. So I'll need to do a buffing process and I'll apply another layer of ceramic coating as it's actually protecting my paint and it looks as dark it was 1yr earlier. Most people with black bilkes can relate how dull the color becomes periodically which I never liked about black bikes or cars. So it works but you need to do it professionally. Also wipe off the ceramic after 5mins of applying otherwise it will make the surface look matte bcz of uneven liquid surface and the glossy ness will be lost which can only be removed after buffing. Overall it good.

I need to ask one questions , I had an old car Polo VW model 2012, now car having many scratch’s and paint is also got fade. Paint thickness on the every body panel was different after all coats are applied 120 to 200 um average thickness on every car.

I bought skoda kushaq recently. Shall I do a ceramic coating? Is it good?
I've applied Ceramic Coating on my SUZUKI Gixxer SF bike which was from SuperCeramic brand which can be found on RUclips. My experience was I did foam wash and wiped all panels. Later applied 2 layers of Ceramic Coating. What happened is it reacted at a small part of my fuel tank and made it look full and everything around was glossy. Later that part started removing paint like small dots. Which the service center guy said is it's a chemical reaction that created such paint deformation. So it's 1yr already. My black bike looks as black as earlier but small likes like dry wipes are visible easily under sunlight. So I'll need to do a buffing process and I'll apply another layer of ceramic coating as it's actually protecting my paint and it looks as dark it was 1yr earlier. Most people with black bilkes can relate how dull the color becomes periodically which I never liked about black bikes or cars. So it works but you need to do it professionally. Also wipe off the ceramic after 5mins of applying otherwise it will make the surface look matte bcz of uneven liquid surface and the glossy ness will be lost which can only be removed after buffing. Overall it good.
Coz all ceramic quality isn’t that great. You need to pick and choose a good ceramic coating option - see the video for All details
@@motoroctane Yea watched this whole video. Before I've watched tons of videos from super ceramic. That's why I bought that. But you know how it went. So I'm thinking of a buffing touch to it and reapply ceramic coating from ceramic pro if it fits my budget. Let me check their website and prices.
