I LOVED the 2016 run by Lemire, it was the run that got me into Moon Knight. The visuals are crazy!
I just finished it today and man what a trip
I got into moon knight cause of the show. I have the Lemire run, omnibus vol 1 and 2, first trade of the 2021 series and the 2006 omnibus. I have legacy complete on the way too. Also will get Bendis run too cause i wanna try and get all his stuff. Hes become one of my favorite heroes. He mixes my 2 fav things in comics, street level ass kicker and supernatural elements.
The run by Charlie Huston, and the run by Warren Ellis are great reading recommendations for reading Moon Knight.
Only knowing Moon Knight from the tv show, the Warren Ellis run was a great starting point
As much as I love Moon Knight, I gotta say that Moon Knight Saga's cover art looks exactly like the first appearance Batman in detective comics
Bendis run was my introduction to Moon Knight and I loved it!
Now years later after I've read some more Moon Knight, I understand why people don't like it in comparison, but I still love it ^^

I hadn't heard of Moon Knight until last year. So I'm super excited to start reading Omnibus Vol. 1 when it releases in march. Will be perfect to have a bit of knowledge before the show comes out.

Interesting video. Most of my Moon Knight related books come from the 70's-80's. Back then he popped up in the Defenders.

Yeah, you can pretty much start at every series beginning and understand Moon Knight, although he is a complicated character you don't need to know much as pretty much every run explains it anyway. The best IMO is still the 2006 series by Huston & Benson. You pretty much named every series except the Legacy Moon Knight, which is the latest I read and I enjoyed that a lot. I wouldn't recommend the old omnibus for a brand new reader to start with though, mainly because of the old art and writing, but that's just my personal opinion :)

Read the Ellis stuff ages ago but couldn't really get into it. I remember liking the art though. Maybe I should try it again.🤔

What Moon Knight comic is the one over your right shoulder?
I have read all Moon Knight runs from 2006 to the present, and I will say that new readers should skip Max Bemis run. Not a fan of his run Bendis one was much better imo.

Hey, did you see how bad ep 1 of Moon Knight is? I could only last 10 minutes. The writing is so so bad. It felt like a skit on Saturday Night Live.

@@camdakill6007 so glad you liked it. Moon Knight was terrible. Moon Knight should be like Batman. Steven Grant is rich, not psychotic. I heard people hated it. All the RUclipsrs I watch make fun of it. Gimmie a break.
I got into Moon Knight by Jed McKay so this video is very helpful. I always liked him especially with Tigra and west coast avengers.
