As far as I know that's the whole point they make the Main character budget to pull people in and make em pay big bucks to continue the set I wouldn't call it Scumy tho because the 35 dollar figures honestly feel like they could easily have gone for upwards of 50 or even standard shf prices like that Tanjiro in no way feels like a 35 dollar figure. It's not a matter of overpricing the side characters there underpricing the main character 👍
@johns3153 @johns3153 Yuyu Hakusho and Rurouni Kenshin were priced normally because nowadays they really aren't that popular, at least compared to stuff like Demon Slayer, Naruto and One Piece. So Tamashi didn't know if they'd sell very well, and they still need to make a profit plus that Yusuke was WAAAAAYY too good for 35 bucks. I can't speak on Dragon Ball as I have no experience with the line.
@@dkguillotine3743 true I just feel like they have been increasing prices too much imo like beetlejuice is $95.00 the yugioh dark magician is $95.00 and now Younger Toguro 100% from yu yu hakusho is $95.00 and need him for the extra accessories to go along with Yusuke Urameshi
@johns3153 I do agree the prices are getting alittle high Like I've been really wanting to get The Undead Unluck SHFS but everytime I have the money for them, there's something else coming out that I'm more excited for and it takes priority. It's an endless cycle 😵💫 Still having a blast with the hobby tho imo SHFS are definitely earning the money right now, like quality has never been better 👌
