I'm disabled and living in my car but I try my very best to be of joy and not let people see me too sad. My joy comes from the Lord and his grace is enough for me.
Stop trying and rest in what Christ has already accomplished for you on the cross! There are too many of these videos out there that point the finger and tell us we need to do this that and the other. When in fact Christ has already done it gor us on our behalf!
On the contrary, I started enjoying life when I fully committed to God. I stopped seeking pleasure and sought the kingdom of God and true pleasure was the by product. It’s unthinkable how joyful my life has become, yet I’m usually alone, sober, hardly binge any tv shows. Nothing out there can entice me any more, the joy and peace I have received from Jesus just doesn’t make any logical sense, it’s truly divine and I wish all man would enter into that realm of peace.
Just out of curiosity, what do you do to spend time with God? I see all the comments talking about how they enjoy life more in Christ and while I do have moments where I do, the majority of the time I don’t. Most of the time it’s just fighting my flesh and the enemy. I’m a college student and don’t have much to keep my busy besides school work, I try to avoid secular things but I don’t have anything else enjoyable to do. I feel so restricted, like I can’t be free unless I’m praying, reading, or worshipping. Not to mention I don’t have believing friends I connect with, more just acquaintances. I don’t even know why I’m sharing all this but I feel led to so here I am lol

What helps me is bringing my burden (anxiety, doubt, stress, fear, temptation, everything) to Jesus for He said come Ye unto me and I will give you rest.I do not rely on my own strength but I ask God to help and guide me so that I will not come to a place of thinking that Ican do it all by myself. Why do I do it? So that I remain grounded in Jesus. I work besides school and I take care of myself here financially. So I also have to pray and ask Jesus to help me and assist me at work so that I work to please Him. When I am tired, I ask Jesus to help me. Also as a woman, I think about later what I need to be a good mother, so I arrange my room, try to manage my finances well, be more tidy, be more disciplined, read my Bible now to understant it as I am also single so that before I have children, I will have some knowledge on the will of God and about Jesus (as I read the new testamtent). Also I listen to Zac Poonen. I like him because he is a bible grounded preacher, loves Jesus and gives glory to God. I heard one elder of the church there say that we should first have a relationship with God, then have a sunday service (or church or something in this direction) in our home and then have fellowship with Brothers and sisters on sunday. It took me some time to understand it and he is right. Nowadays many bad things happen in churches, abuse of all types. So this is why I decided to know Jesus and God's will more, leave with Jesus in the things I do in my home (my student room and my life now as a single female student), and when I go to church on sunday, I learn from others and I hope to be a blessing to others. I think that this prevents me from being dependent on the church on sundays. I was in a local church where I was emotionally and psychologically abused. They were highly arrogant and narcissistic but I joined that church as a naive college student and by the time I woke up, I was depressed and suicidal. I wanted to buy a bottle of wine, smoke throw-up and self-harm to drink my pain away. If not for the love Jesus has for me, I would not have been writing you today with a sober mind. The story is long but if you want me to share it I will. Take care of yourself and remember that Jesus is the way the truth and the life.

Church hurt is real, growing up in the church with out having a personal relationship with God actually led me away from the truth and into atheism. Thank you for sharing your story, it makes me feel better knowing that others know what it’s like to follow Christ as a college student. I definitely don’t wanna rely on the church, for everything but I do wish I had some other believers to consistently fellowship with you know? I’ve spent most of my journey of being saved alone/without much support or guidance from others and I feel like it definitely makes it harder. Paul talks about the importance of being a part of a group of like minded believers on one accord in his letters to the churches. Anyways sorry for the long comment, I just felt like sharing that. So true. I’m miserable in my walk not because the way of God is boring, but because I keep looking back to what used to be “fun” but would’ve ended in destruction. It was temporary “fun”.
man this is so true, I went from an atheist to a believer when I was 30 and it really is like that. Looking back I honestly try to not consider them fun times or good times. I am reminded of Lots wife looking back at soddom and being turned into salt. Do not look back on wicked ways and miss them.
"The way of God is 'boring" you said. This is exactly what I thought and said when I was in Bible College. I kept looking back to nights out with the girls, drinking, dancing, etc. I wanted to live like Hemmingway, drinking wine in Spain all night with a table of travelers. So after I graduated I took a job teaching English in China, then South Korea, Mexico, back to China. I drank and partied and engaged in sexual sin all the while my heart becoming more bitter because it wasn't satisfied until finally God (I believe) showed me the end of this sin. I met one Narcissist after another and they each destroyed me a little more than the last. I even saw a friend and coworker's eyes turn completely black right in front of me at work while she was raging at me and it's then I understood, these seductions are of the devil. That might sound crazy but I learned it's true. I used to think these people were so interesting, now I run from them and want only to spend my time with the 'boring' Christians. lol. Because there is so much peace in those relationships. They don't behave like the world (for the most part); their hearts are soft, their hands and ears open. They actually care and they try. I'm only sorry that I had to experience it for myself (and for so long) to understand this. From someone who has lived the 'fun' life for 20 decades unhindered, let me say -- I sincerely wish you don't have to learn this the way that I did. Like wine in a cup, it looks pleasing but in the end it bites like a snake. So much time wasted. The only good thing that came out of it was that I no longer want anything to do with that life. All it gave me was lifetime of shame and regret.
Just think about all the hard times those "fun" times gave you. How little you benefited from it. The Lord will deliver you from temptation. Memories will always be there but you have the choice which emotions you feel.
Ive observed that those who are miserable...often they are not saturating themselves in the Word enough. Remember, there is great power in confession of the Word out loud. Do not read it silently. If you are miserable, honestly ask yourself how often you have been confessing the Word out loud and allowing it to become a part of you!
Don’t let the devil put thoughts of doubt in your minds you are not condemned. The fact that you care proves the Holy Spirit is still inside you, we’re not perfect and it’s a daily battle between our flesh and spirit just keep on fighting and moving forward we all stumble along the way.
Allow God’s Word to flow truth into you. Allow the Lord to speak through His Word and the people who speak it, so that way you can tell the LIES of the enemy to leave with the Word and the promises that He spoke over us. You should do a vid on how to combat doubt and how to believe the promises of God. Talk about how Joshua and Caleb believed, how they walked by faith. Differentiate between delusionally claiming something that is not for a person and truly claiming by faith what does belong to a believer. Too many believers have prayed about a thing and thought that they had it by faith and they did not. Then they were told that their faith wasn't strong enough and it was crushing.
Pray for me...I was saved at the age of 22, Baptized at 24, but in a loveless marriage i rushed into because it was the first and only woman that showed affection back. She caused the death of our first daughter when she was 7 months and I'm raising our autistic son alone now. I fell into a hard way and in darkness after that death and drank every weekend, too much, and was raising my son on autopilot, doing just what I had to do. after 15 years of a life of drinkin' and lust filled times and even adultry which I'm severly ashamed of...but Jesus NEVER gave up on me. At the age of 40, 4 years ago I just quit drinking cold turkey by the grace of God...stopped looking at porn or trying to get one night stands...can't even really stand watching anything on TV or streaming services or listen to any secular music. I stopped celebrating appropriated pagan holidays, but I'm still feeling so alonephysically...I know God and Jesus are there and love me...just sadly it's not the same as having someone to physically touch. I need prayers
So so sorry to hear this. I'm praying for you and it sounds like you need to go deeper with God. There should never be a point where we stop trying to discover who He is and He wants to keep revealing Himself to us but we need to do the seeking. Maybe you have some unforgiveness left in your heart from when you said she caused the death of a baby. That's heavy and I'm sure God is waiting for you to bring it to Him so He can heal you completely from it. God bless
Bring your burden to Jesus. He said bring your burden unto me you heavy burdened. He knows that we are burdened, but we are used to do everything on our own to satisfy Him buwe rarely think that we need His help in ALL things that we do. So I highly invite you to bring everything to Jesus and ask Him to help you throughout this anxiety or confusion you are feeling. I believe He will help you. Jesus wants to have a relationship with us, not just us praying and telling Him what to do but us inviting Him in our lives so that He can help and guide us. I also recommend reading the new Testament to better know Jesus and listening to Zac Poonen, a bible teacher here on RUclips. I am reading 1st Corinthians with some friends and I also listen to what Zac Poonen has to say since I am still learning. So go back to the Jesus and the Bible so that you may build a new foundation which is in the Word of God and that you may know God's will for your life. Take care.

Not all sinners. I've been looking to get out of my sinful life and trying to find a way to easily transition because every moment that I'm living in sin I feel conviction. And I prayed for that so I'm happy that my conscience feels something but I'm not happy about living in sin. There's never going to be a perfect exit route I realize that I just need to take that leap of faith and trust in him!

If you walk in the light with Jesus, people are going to see that change in you. That’s how you know when you are set apart. That was rough and challenging for me when I was in the military, but now I see where God never did forsake me, as He promised and He still brought me victory in all situations, and I have felt His Grace washing over me when I repent and come before Him with my broken heart and crushed spirit. Perfect timing! Today I am very sick. Sore throat, dizziness, headache, and a runny nose. But I've prayed to God many times and have gotten better, although, when I was on the bus, my head started to hurt so badly I almost cried. I was sad and thought God didn't help me but then I saw this video explaining why my life was "miserable". Thank you so much. Whatever your sin is, find scripture, a verse that fights against it. Then memorize that by heart, study it like a flashcard for a school test. And then whenever you feel the urge for that sin, recite it over and over and ask Jesus fill you with his love. For example, if you struggle with lust, anytime you have those sinful thought, you say immediately “For it is the will of God, even your sanctification, that you abstain from fornication.” Thessalonians 4:3. We have been given a sword to fight against sin, wield it with the love of God in you. I will pray for you Jeffrey!

I definitely needed to hear this! This has been my problem. Complaining about my current situation, not being thankful for what I DO have, and then getting upset with Yah like a child having a fit. I feel so down because I try my best and sometimes backslide and never feel good enough to be saved. But if we don’t warn people, we will be judged and it’s tiring trying to keep warning people who get angry at what you say. And I am tired of trying to warn friends who don’t care to listen to me we have to get right. I have faith but my top struggles are needing to fully forgive everyone, trying to stop drinking, and the issue of listening to the wrong music and being too much in my phone before my Bible which in turn is an idol. I’m trying hard to conquer them and I’m depressed I worry if I’ll make it and friends don’t care to at all doing much worse like drugs and sex/promiscuity and are as happy as can be but they don’t know hell is real I’ve been shown it.
If you tell people once then at that point it is up to them. You will have to cut off a lot of people not because they are always bad people but because they are a temptation to sins and especially the ones that you were struggling with in the past. I got rid of a friend that I was friends with for 15 years because he was not my friend but was trying to get with me. My friend circle is very small now and even the two or three people I talk to are friends but not best friends. So in a way I am a loner and I got put into isolation by God but I realized that it was the best thing he could have done. I do got my family but they can only handle so much and they don't really understand the isolation I'm going through. It was weird because Christmas Eve I was with my family but I felt like I was in another world and disassociated with them even though that wasn't my intentions. They weren't even talking to me and if they were it was very rare but my mom acknowledged me the most of course when I went upstairs and had an anxiety attack because I was trying to understand what was going on and why I felt even more alone. I can't really physically 100% distance myself from them but I can make some physical and emotional distance. But now things are starting to make sense and I can't pinpoint an exact reason why but I am understanding more and more. Especially watching videos on RUclips on people who were put in isolation by God so they can do self-reflection and also to get closer to him because their old life was causing them to lose focus on God and making idols of other things which leads to a path of destruction. I think maybe I saw that my family was going down that path by making idols on vanity and the holidays but the worst thing was that if I would have told them they wouldn't have listened because they are too stuck in their ways and then out of nowhere, they started talking about the Bible being fairy tales and that there is no evidence of Jesus and even the people back then that were alive didn't believe that Jesus was the Messiah and then my mom added that she believed in reincarnation and wanted to come back as an animal.

You need to watch your own behind and nobody is going to pick you up after falling on your face. 4.) I served the needed during Thanksgiving and got a free meal. I liked learning from their experiences and love is the key to God's true power for all things. 5.) People would rather judge you for having a disability and beat you down because it makes them feel better about themselves. 6.) I'm sad because I see the world as it truly is. People have gotten so self-serving, greedy, evil, and have no more boundaries! It's getting harder and harder to find an all around good person. Not one who pretends to be good, but one who is good.
I am just going to be honest, I thought when I truly would follow God that my life would change for the better for worldly success I just thought I would gain a high paying career because I would of made God happy and he would bless me in that way, it’s been over ten years following Jesus for me and I have not got to that high paying job yet. I am still a young man but I’ll have to just carry on, the best times in my life were when I just did what I wanted such as boxing, getting high and having sex, life has just been tough and boring tbh ever since I dedicated my life to being like Jesus.
@@HeartNDagger18 have you considered asking God to provide the money for something you want financially? As long as it’s not of the flesh and He gets all the glory it works. Speaking from experience God comes through when there’s faith
@@HeartNDagger18 As for the high paying job, Don’t answer me but it’s to think about: is it something that will draw you away from him? how frequently do you pray about it ( Bible say pray fervently James 5:16)? why do you want it? what about you attitude God wants to be our source not getting that from income, would you genuinely bless others with this new income? will you still want his will or turn away from him? It’s possible eg David and Solomon gained a lot of wealth - but God knew they would handle that well

Thank you for this message. Exactly what I needed to hear today. I definitely “looked” happier and had more “fun” when I was unsaved. But none of my ways profited me and all led to destruction. It was a “fun” ride to destruction. I know how that path ends, and I need to remember that the end of it is slavery to a Pharaoh that wants me dead or under his control. I am on a new path now. A path beside still waters. A path of righteousness. This in itself is a miracle because my life became chaotic and out of control…even now I am extremely busy with many responsibilities that I carry alone, but I feel at peace and fully rested. The Christian walk reminds me of being on a really healthy diet and bodybuilding plan. Healthy diets and bodybuilding are hard to stick to - not because you don’t feel great. They’re hard to stick to because of all the temptation around you and within you. It helps if you have a support group (church) and others who are on the same diet with the same goals. If you’re surrounded by people who stuff their faces and have no fitness goals, then you will think they have the easier and more fun life. But it is not a fair comparison. Granted, the Holy Spirit isn’t available to help you stick to your Jenny Craig plan lol but He is available to help you in your Walk….we don’t have to do this out of our own strength or willpower.

This is so good! I just read an article about how many of us in Christ believe in the lie that "our best days are behind us." We look back fondly on lives we prayed to be delivered from. We forget just how miserable we were. Lord, forgive us for acting like the children of Israel!
There are people who claim to know Jesus who do not believe that God gives us direction. And certainly do not believe that we may be put in situations like what you are saying. They wrongfully believe the saying that God helps those who help themselves. This is not in scripture. And is very unscriptural. And I have dealt with this and continue to do so. I'm favoured, $60k every weeks! I can now give back to the local community and also support God’s work and church. ❤️❤️❤️

This video is a blessing and an awakening. I’m not going to lie…I feel like I’m in the desert. My problem is I don’t have a social or romance life…never had. I’m on the spectrum so it’s been tough…and I want a wife and friends but have yet to find any. And work wise I’m miserable work, hours, and pay. People are good just none my age….worst of all I’m wasting the gift God gave me. He made me to be a writer and I haven’t been able to use it. My dream is to use my show to spread the word. But haven’t had any progress. Great message! Im not miserable because I’m looking back from where i came from although i suspect most people have this issue… I’m miserable because of health and other issues. I’ve never wavered from knowing God is able. I may be disappointed that God hasn’t got rid of it despite my best efforts, but I have been complaining though which I agree has to stop. Its no use lying to God because He already knows what im thinking. I agree we have to keep our eyes and heart on God’s promises despite what is happening.
I don't yearn for the things that I used to do or for the way I used to be... I burn with shame and regret! This is why I feel so unhappy. Shame.... I cry out to Jesus for him to come and take over my life but all I get is a wall of silence ...
I don't think having faith is painful. Being misunderstood is painful. It's sad when some people are not appreciating or understanding the values of Christ or a person who grows as a Christian. But don't ever give up on God just because people let you down.

Was working in clubs then I quit when I got saved this year(i dont want go back to that life, ever) I've been trying to move forward getting a job and all but nothing seems to be working the whole year I feel so mad at God and I'm quite ready for the world to come to an end, I feel so pathetic having walked in obedience to even the little things that i feel He's telling me to do to the point of looking dumb and still holding on but right now it feels like a toxic relationship than a loving one Feels like im living the same day all over again everyday
We get angry with God when we don't know all the facts. It's so easy to think we know everything, but we can only see a very small part of the picture. If we think God is going to be our genie in a bottle, and make everything good in our lives, we're going to be mad at God when something bad happens. Having faith in God is not insurance against hardships. In the Bible, Jesus says- “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) Believing He does have a reason for everything we go through helps us to trust that something bigger is going on here, even more than we can probably understand. But I'm not God, He is. And I'm just going to trust that He knows what's going on with you. I am sorry for that but the truth is that the righteous must suffer as a way of partaking in the cup of sufferings of Christ . Give it time God will answer your prayers. Read the book of Job and you realize that devil brings sufferings to men so that they might denounce their faith in God. Temptations are there to strengthen your faith in God even Jesus being the Son of God underwent temptations.Take heart brother and let your heart affirm that you know your reedemer lives.(Job 19:25-26). Whatever you do, just dont give up. Its not easy, but it will be worth it. Believe it or not right now, He cares for your circumstances. Do what you can to pray, and read the word daily, no matter how hard it may be. Depend on the Holy Spirit that dwells in you for peace, and comfort. He will lift you up. Remember, all that matters is your relationship with Jesus. So stay in prayer, and ask the Holy Spirit to intercede for you, and bring you closer to Jesus. I know things are going to change for you. I will pray for you, because I know He has a special purpose for you. He saved you for a reason, and the enemy is going to do whatever he can to draw you away. Keep the faith no matter how hard, and you will overcome. Be blessed

On the contrary, I started enjoying life when I fully committed to God. I stopped seeking pleasure and sought the kingdom of God and true pleasure was the by product. It’s unthinkable how joyful my life has become, yet I’m usually alone, sober, hardly binge any tv shows. Nothing out there can entice me any more, the joy and peace I have received from Jesus just doesn’t make any logical sense, it’s truly divine and I wish all man would enter into that realm of peace.
Just out of curiosity, what do you do to spend time with God? I see all the comments talking about how they enjoy life more in Christ and while I do have moments where I do, the majority of the time I don’t. Most of the time it’s just fighting my flesh and the enemy. I’m a college student and don’t have much to keep my busy besides school work, I try to avoid secular things but I don’t have anything else enjoyable to do. I feel so restricted, like I can’t be free unless I’m praying, reading, or worshipping. Not to mention I don’t have believing friends I connect with, more just acquaintances. I don’t even know why I’m sharing all this but I feel led to so here I am lol

What helps me is bringing my burden (anxiety, doubt, stress, fear, temptation, everything) to Jesus for He said come Ye unto me and I will give you rest.I do not rely on my own strength but I ask God to help and guide me so that I will not come to a place of thinking that Ican do it all by myself. Why do I do it? So that I remain grounded in Jesus. I work besides school and I take care of myself here financially. So I also have to pray and ask Jesus to help me and assist me at work so that I work to please Him. When I am tired, I ask Jesus to help me. Also as a woman, I think about later what I need to be a good mother, so I arrange my room, try to manage my finances well, be more tidy, be more disciplined, read my Bible now to understant it as I am also single so that before I have children, I will have some knowledge on the will of God and about Jesus (as I read the new testamtent). Also I listen to Zac Poonen. I like him because he is a bible grounded preacher, loves Jesus and gives glory to God. I heard one elder of the church there say that we should first have a relationship with God, then have a sunday service (or church or something in this direction) in our home and then have fellowship with Brothers and sisters on sunday. It took me some time to understand it and he is right. Nowadays many bad things happen in churches, abuse of all types. So this is why I decided to know Jesus and God's will more, leave with Jesus in the things I do in my home (my student room and my life now as a single female student), and when I go to church on sunday, I learn from others and I hope to be a blessing to others. I think that this prevents me from being dependent on the church on sundays. I was in a local church where I was emotionally and psychologically abused. They were highly arrogant and narcissistic but I joined that church as a naive college student and by the time I woke up, I was depressed and suicidal. I wanted to buy a bottle of wine, smoke throw-up and self-harm to drink my pain away. If not for the love Jesus has for me, I would not have been writing you today with a sober mind. The story is long but if you want me to share it I will. Take care of yourself and remember that Jesus is the way the truth and the life.

Church hurt is real, growing up in the church with out having a personal relationship with God actually led me away from the truth and into atheism. Thank you for sharing your story, it makes me feel better knowing that others know what it’s like to follow Christ as a college student. I definitely don’t wanna rely on the church, for everything but I do wish I had some other believers to consistently fellowship with you know? I’ve spent most of my journey of being saved alone/without much support or guidance from others and I feel like it definitely makes it harder. Paul talks about the importance of being a part of a group of like minded believers on one accord in his letters to the churches. Anyways sorry for the long comment, I just felt like sharing that.

man this is so true, I went from an atheist to a believer when I was 30 and it really is like that. Looking back I honestly try to not consider them fun times or good times. I am reminded of Lots wife looking back at soddom and being turned into salt. Do not look back on wicked ways and miss them.
"The way of God is 'boring" you said. This is exactly what I thought and said when I was in Bible College. I kept looking back to nights out with the girls, drinking, dancing, etc. I wanted to live like Hemmingway, drinking wine in Spain all night with a table of travelers. So after I graduated I took a job teaching English in China, then South Korea, Mexico, back to China. I drank and partied and engaged in sexual sin all the while my heart becoming more bitter because it wasn't satisfied until finally God (I believe) showed me the end of this sin. I met one Narcissist after another and they each destroyed me a little more than the last. I even saw a friend and coworker's eyes turn completely black right in front of me at work while she was raging at me and it's then I understood, these seductions are of the devil. That might sound crazy but I learned it's true. I used to think these people were so interesting, now I run from them and want only to spend my time with the 'boring' Christians. lol. Because there is so much peace in those relationships. They don't behave like the world (for the most part); their hearts are soft, their hands and ears open. They actually care and they try. I'm only sorry that I had to experience it for myself (and for so long) to understand this. From someone who has lived the 'fun' life for 20 decades unhindered, let me say -- I sincerely wish you don't have to learn this the way that I did. Like wine in a cup, it looks pleasing but in the end it bites like a snake. So much time wasted. The only good thing that came out of it was that I no longer want anything to do with that life. All it gave me was lifetime of shame and regret.
Just think about all the hard times those "fun" times gave you. How little you benefited from it.
The Lord will deliver you from temptation. Memories will always be there but you have the choice which emotions you feel.

Ive observed that those who are miserable...often they are not saturating themselves in the Word enough. Remember, there is great power in confession of the Word out loud. Do not read it silently. If you are miserable, honestly ask yourself how often you have been confessing the Word out loud and allowing it to become a part of you!

You should do a vid on how to combat doubt and how to believe the promises of God. Talk about how Joshua and Caleb believed, how they walked by faith. Differentiate between delusionally claiming something that is not for a person and truly claiming by faith what does belong to a believer.
Too many believers have prayed about a thing and thought that they had it by faith and they did not. Then they were told that their faith wasn't strong enough and it was crushing.
Pray for me...I was saved at the age of 22, Baptized at 24, but in a loveless marriage i rushed into because it was the first and only woman that showed affection back. She caused the death of our first daughter when she was 7 months and I'm raising our autistic son alone now. I fell into a hard way and in darkness after that death and drank every weekend, too much, and was raising my son on autopilot, doing just what I had to do. after 15 years of a life of drinkin' and lust filled times and even adultry which I'm severly ashamed of...but Jesus NEVER gave up on me. At the age of 40, 4 years ago I just quit drinking cold turkey by the grace of God...stopped looking at porn or trying to get one night stands...can't even really stand watching anything on TV or streaming services or listen to any secular music. I stopped celebrating appropriated pagan holidays, but I'm still feeling so alonephysically...I know God and Jesus are there and love me...just sadly it's not the same as having someone to physically touch. I need prayers
So so sorry to hear this. I'm praying for you and it sounds like you need to go deeper with God. There should never be a point where we stop trying to discover who He is and He wants to keep revealing Himself to us but we need to do the seeking. Maybe you have some unforgiveness left in your heart from when you said she caused the death of a baby. That's heavy and I'm sure God is waiting for you to bring it to Him so He can heal you completely from it. God bless
Bring your burden to Jesus. He said bring your burden unto me you heavy burdened. He knows that we are burdened, but we are used to do everything on our own to satisfy Him buwe rarely think that we need His help in ALL things that we do. So I highly invite you to bring everything to Jesus and ask Him to help you throughout this anxiety or confusion you are feeling. I believe He will help you. Jesus wants to have a relationship with us, not just us praying and telling Him what to do but us inviting Him in our lives so that He can help and guide us. I also recommend reading the new Testament to better know Jesus and listening to Zac Poonen, a bible teacher here on RUclips. I am reading 1st Corinthians with some friends and I also listen to what Zac Poonen has to say since I am still learning. So go back to the Jesus and the Bible so that you may build a new foundation which is in the Word of God and that you may know God's will for your life. Take care.

Whatever your sin is, find scripture, a verse that fights against it. Then memorize that by heart, study it like a flashcard for a school test. And then whenever you feel the urge for that sin, recite it over and over and ask Jesus fill you with his love. For example, if you struggle with lust, anytime you have those sinful thought, you say immediately “For it is the will of God, even your sanctification, that you abstain from fornication.” Thessalonians 4:3. I feel so down because I try my best and sometimes backslide and never feel good enough to be saved. But if we don’t warn people, we will be judged and it’s tiring trying to keep warning people who get angry at what you say. And I am tired of trying to warn friends who don’t care to listen to me we have to get right. I have faith but my top struggles are needing to fully forgive everyone, trying to stop drinking, and the issue of listening to the wrong music and being too much in my phone before my Bible which in turn is an idol. I’m trying hard to conquer them and I’m depressed I worry if I’ll make it and friends don’t care to at all doing much worse like drugs and sex/promiscuity and are as happy as can be but they don’t know hell is real I’ve been shown it.
God wants you to let some people go. And get rooted in a good church. He loves you
If you tell people once then at that point it is up to them. You will have to cut off a lot of people not because they are always bad people but because they are a temptation to sins and especially the ones that you were struggling with in the past. I got rid of a friend that I was friends with for 15 years because he was not my friend but was trying to get with me. My friend circle is very small now and even the two or three people I talk to are friends but not best friends. So in a way I am a loner and I got put into isolation by God but I realized that it was the best thing he could have done. I do got my family but they can only handle so much and they don't really understand the isolation I'm going through. It was weird because Christmas Eve I was with my family but I felt like I was in another world and disassociated with them even though that wasn't my intentions. They weren't even talking to me and if they were it was very rare but my mom acknowledged me the most of course when I went upstairs and had an anxiety attack because I was trying to understand what was going on and why I felt even more alone. I can't really physically 100% distance myself from them but I can make some physical and emotional distance. But now things are starting to make sense and I can't pinpoint an exact reason why but I am understanding more and more. Especially watching videos on RUclips on people who were put in isolation by God so they can do self-reflection and also to get closer to him because their old life was causing them to lose focus on God and making idols of other things which leads to a path of destruction. I think maybe I saw that my family was going down that path by making idols on vanity and the holidays but the worst thing was that if I would have told them they wouldn't have listened because they are too stuck in their ways and then out of nowhere, they started talking about the Bible being fairy tales and that there is no evidence of Jesus and even the people back then that were alive didn't believe that Jesus was the Messiah and then my mom added that she believed in reincarnation and wanted to come back as an animal.

I'm sad because I see the world as it truly is. People have gotten so self-serving, greedy, evil, and have no more boundaries! It's getting harder and harder to find an all around good person. Not one who pretends to be good, but one who is good.
I am just going to be honest, I thought when I truly would follow God that my life would change for the better for worldly success I just thought I would gain a high paying career because I would of made God happy and he would bless me in that way, it’s been over ten years following Jesus for me and I have not got to that high paying job yet. I am still a young man but I’ll have to just carry on, the best times in my life were when I just did what I wanted such as boxing, getting high and having sex, life has just been tough and boring tbh ever since I dedicated my life to being like Jesus.

It’s possible eg David and Solomon gained a lot of wealth - but God knew they would handle that well

Thank you for this message. Exactly what I needed to hear today. I definitely “looked” happier and had more “fun” when I was unsaved. But none of my ways profited me and all led to destruction. It was a “fun” ride to destruction. I know how that path ends, and I need to remember that the end of it is slavery to a Pharaoh that wants me dead or under his control. I am on a new path now. A path beside still waters. A path of righteousness. This in itself is a miracle because my life became chaotic and out of control…even now I am extremely busy with many responsibilities that I carry alone, but I feel at peace and fully rested. The Christian walk reminds me of being on a really healthy diet and bodybuilding plan. Healthy diets and bodybuilding are hard to stick to - not because you don’t feel great. They’re hard to stick to because of all the temptation around you and within you. It helps if you have a support group (church) and others who are on the same diet with the same goals. If you’re surrounded by people who stuff their faces and have no fitness goals, then you will think they have the easier and more fun life. But it is not a fair comparison. Granted, the Holy Spirit isn’t available to help you stick to your Jenny Craig plan lol but He is available to help you in your Walk….we don’t have to do this out of our own strength or willpower.

This is so good! I just read an article about how many of us in Christ believe in the lie that "our best days are behind us." We look back fondly on lives we prayed to be delivered from. We forget just how miserable we were. Lord, forgive us for acting like the children of Israel!
There are people who claim to know Jesus who do not believe that God gives us direction. And certainly do not believe that we may be put in situations like what you are saying. They wrongfully believe the saying that God helps those who help themselves. This is not in scripture. And is very unscriptural. And I have dealt with this and continue to do so.

This video is a blessing and an awakening. I’m not going to lie…I feel like I’m in the desert. My problem is I don’t have a social or romance life…never had. I’m on the spectrum so it’s been tough…and I want a wife and friends but have yet to find any. And work wise I’m miserable work, hours, and pay. People are good just none my age….worst of all I’m wasting the gift God gave me. He made me to be a writer and I haven’t been able to use it. My dream is to use my show to spread the word. But haven’t had any progress. I love God and believe/want to serve him for eternity…it’s just tough for me to hold onto hope I’ll get my dream girl and job….if this means my heart is hardened please pray for me. Any advice or words of encouragement are very much welcomed

Great message! Im not miserable because I’m looking back from where i came from although i suspect most people have this issue… I’m miserable because of health and other issues. I’ve never wavered from knowing God is able. I may be disappointed that God hasn’t got rid of it despite my best efforts, but I have been complaining though which I agree has to stop. Its no use lying to God because He already knows what im thinking. I agree we have to keep our eyes and heart on God’s promises despite what is happening.
I don't yearn for the things that I used to do or for the way I used to be... I burn with shame and regret! This is why I feel so unhappy. Shame.... I cry out to Jesus for him to come and take over my life but all I get is a wall of silence ...

I don't think having faith is painful. Being misunderstood is painful. It's sad when some people are not appreciating or understanding the values of Christ or a person who grows as a Christian. But don't ever give up on God just because people let you down.

Was working in clubs then I quit when I got saved this year(i dont want go back to that life, ever) I've been trying to move forward getting a job and all but nothing seems to be working the whole year I feel so mad at God and I'm quite ready for the world to come to an end, I feel so pathetic having walked in obedience to even the little things that i feel He's telling me to do to the point of looking dumb and still holding on but right now it feels like a toxic relationship than a loving one

We get angry with God when we don't know all the facts. It's so easy to think we know everything, but we can only see a very small part of the picture. If we think God is going to be our genie in a bottle, and make everything good in our lives, we're going to be mad at God when something bad happens. Having faith in God is not insurance against hardships.
In the Bible, Jesus says- “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33) Believing He does have a reason for everything we go through helps us to trust that something bigger is going on here, even more than we can probably understand. But I'm not God, He is. And I'm just going to trust that He knows what's going on with you. I am sorry for that but the truth is that the righteous must suffer as a way of partaking in the cup of sufferings of Christ . Give it time God will answer your prayers. Read the book of Job and you realize that devil brings sufferings to men so that they might denounce their faith in God. Temptations are there to strengthen your faith in God even Jesus being the Son of God underwent temptations.Take heart brother and let your heart affirm that you know your reedemer lives.(Job 19:25-26). Whatever you do, just dont give up. Its not easy, but it will be worth it. Believe it or not right now, He cares for your circumstances. Do what you can to pray, and read the word daily, no matter how hard it may be. Depend on the Holy Spirit that dwells in you for peace, and comfort. He will lift you up. Remember, all that matters is your relationship with Jesus. So stay in prayer, and ask the Holy Spirit to intercede for you, and bring you closer to Jesus. I know things are going to change for you. I will pray for you, because I know He has a special purpose for you. He saved you for a reason, and the enemy is going to do whatever he can to draw you away. Keep the faith no matter how hard, and you will overcome. Be blessed
@@Outsider4JC Hello thankyou for taking time to reply, I'm from Africa though, Kenya🇰🇪 ; It feels like every time I'm about to walk into something it moves further away and I've just been dreaming of being back in school like almost daily and though I pray and fast, I just find it hard relating to God these days because He doesn't feel like love anymore, I go to Him with everything but it's like He doesn't see me as good enough to steward anything (work, a home or even marriage)
Im not seeing Him as a genie, it's that I've been seeking His guidance life must go on as I still grow in my relationship with Him; I need a job, spiritual friends, a home that I can thrive in spiritually and looking forward to marriage too but I don't have any of this
My days are spent applying for jobs, marketing the business that I'm currently doing from home but nothing is working, I have nobody to talk to except my parents who I really can't open up to on a deeper level so it's only God that i have so for me to be mad is because He knows i only have Him but its like He doesnt care anymore
Pray for the Holy spirit to be with u and guide u in your new direction !
