Meta is total cancer, but it's not the formation that annoys me as it's easy enough to play against, it's the fact they all play PA1 and spam with no fear or error. If they added a PA filter online like in all other versions of online PES then it wouldn't piss as many people off.

What is PA1?
@@alexstormrage8425Pass Assist 1, the level of assistance when passing. PA1 auto selects the target and power, all you have to do is press the pass button, thus requiring no skill.
@@alexstormrage8425 Pass Assist Level 1, so you cant make any errors passing, the AI always corrects it for you.
I hear you re PA1 but sometimes I will be playing on PA2 and the game will be so difficult to play but then when I switch to PA1 all of a sudden everything works and is responsive and most times I end up with a comeback. And out of frustration I leave it on PA1 because there's enough dynamic difficulty in game that I'm fighting against that it no fun to play. 🤷🏽♂️

The Reason I used to like playing PES was because all types of players were usable, If they turn the game Into Ping Pong Pace Fest, Might as well Just go and play EA Woke Club 24 😅

I've played all the PES titles since PES 3 and let me tell you, this issue is not a new one. PES13 had the same issue, arguably much worse. You would face people using Van der Mirch as their striker in most games. That was a striker with a rating of like 70, but 95 speed. And they would spam lofted through balls from their own box which was actually effective. And no, their defenders didn't even have good passing stats.

I despise people that put defensive on full backs but i totally understand why they do it, personally i think it limits my attack, i like the width and i like to mix it up so im not doing the same things all time because thats robotic gameplay
I thought the same until I saw that I have to start doing the same thing, there's just no other way, div1 and 2 players will demolish you with counter attacks if your fullbacks are bombing forward
@@smoothmovenyc7992 I use deep line my Rijkaard CB none epic version with that Cortana LB everyone gets for free on defensive (but at rb) and I play Carlos LB but no instructions and I'm div 1 player bro. .....feels criminal to put defensive on him 😅😂
The problem is, i.a., that almost all the fullbacks are offensive plastyle. They need more fullbacks with no playstyle. (By no playstyle I mean no playstyle btw, NOT defensive playstyle, NONE, just saying because some one didn't get this last time)
What camera angle/settings do you use?
I've been enjoying a 3-2-3-2 with old L. Hernandez, Halloween De Ligt, NC Rudiger in defense, NC Rodri and legend Makelele in midfield, BT Leao and France Mbappe in LMF and RMF, WC Godric in AMF, standard Benzema in CF and the new hole player POTW Alvarez as SS next to Benzema.
It seems to work really nicely because Benzema draws the defenders and Alvarez and Gordic make runs behind the defense. Although the defense is a bit compromised with 3ATB.
Btw now that they have added custom formations to mobile, there is no excuse for not having the tactical gameplan options present in Pes 21 in eFootball. Why do we still not have fluid formations and instructions like attacking fullbacks or the one where the wingers and fullbacks switch places?

same here its actually my to go possession meta sick formation i feel like i got control of the game once again lol i dunno maybe placebo but again i keep winning went from division 5 up up to 4 in few mins

How do the points system in Div 3 onwards work? I’m getting 30 points for a win but one of my friends is getting 48 points for a win, why is that?
Noooice one Spoony. The SS on this formation, does DLF work best or can you have creative playmaker or any other play style?
Playmakers works better, dlf sucks no matter cf or ss. After update now classic no10 makes better runs than playmaker. Personally i play this formation but with 1 cf and 2 ss (Hole player Mbappe as a right side ss and Maradona on the left side ss), goal poacher in the middle.

CP works better... imo, DLF definitely isn't preferred but I love a skiller, someone who can make a difference but not everyone knows how to dribbling/perform skills online

Come against this 9/10 times online. I can’t breathe I pack the midfield and still no space. My players standing there waiting for a bus. The passing isn’t great which winds me up and the AI block everything 😤🤯

i wish there was a more balanced tactic... this is too defensively passive for me... and quick counter is too much pressure and forward runs... possesion just borked with this passing...
Dedicated servers would improve everything... There are days ( rare cases) when everything is smooth and when there's non meta interesting highly skilled opponent and that's the only case that I have interesting matches... For the most of the days, I try to play, get bored and turn off the game. It is how it is, there's not much we can do,there will always be epic meta exploiters ( they are paying well for that status) because Konami lives from card buyers not from us, F2P players

Meta is not just the formation. It's the way that you need to play it to be effective.

I tried it this game many times but I ended to play older PES which is more realistic and enjoyable than this in special if I play with my friends. I watch your videos with pleasure but not playing this game.
Well I started playing this game recently. And I had quit soonafter PES 2020 got launched (which was still 19, just with new rosters and worsened gameplay) And what can I say? Don't play this, i guess... even though it's the best football game you can play online... Sad times after PES used to be so great

Dude. Look at the pros and cons towards end of video. I'm reviewing the style and even tell everyone that it's boring for me.
The unviability of any other playstyle ruins this game for me. If they balanced things to the point where you could successfully pick any of the playstyles, this game would be epic.
Interceptions are OP
Pretty easy to balance imo, all Konami have to do is look at win % data for different playstyles, and tweak things until it evens out
Inconsistent, I think. In the box, interceptions don't happen often enough if you play this meta way@@schwanpauls
