  • In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)

That hit very deep when you said we don’t think about the people who do the saving & that they need saved! Amazing speech, I truly appreciate it and thank God for our animals. Angels on Earth!

"For the animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours they move finished and complete, gifted with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear." ~ Henry Beston

Dogs are so awesome. I am teaching my Ruby to be my service dog. She already will give me anything I point at, but she only actually knows about 5 different objects. We would love your support on our channel.

Life killing treatment, if when on day one of the treatment they are "vibrant" and barely alive a few weeks later.

It's nice to hear that dogs can help humans so well. But, what about the dogs? Or other therapy animals?
Dogs, and domestic animals, would sacrifice their lives for humans. Most humans wouldn't.
I'm not sure this is very good for the animals. As they feel sadness, grief, anxiety, anger, and so on. They take on those emotions, and sponge them up. These therapy dogs undergo training which goes against their own survival mechanisms. It's not natural to have them undergo all that. These animals don't get to live as long as they could. As they have to accept and take so much in from the humans, they are burned out faster. It's sad one doesn't take that into account. ☹😢

Dogs helping humans to heal are cool. Using images of 911 without warning people is potentially hurtful and manipulative. I'm sure it's unintended but needs to be given more thought. The images of 911 should not be used as a prop.

Okay, that's a weird thing to say. Pretty creepy actually.
Heels are painful to stand in. They can keep you alert and focused when youre moving(with the added bonus of looking great) but if you have to stand still it can get a little annoying.
Movement also helps with nervousness. This is an intelligent woman. Have a nice day.

@@sizzlinsarai , your comment proves that what women who are clinical psychologists say about women is true: they are generally clueless about men.
