When Dragon ball Z first aired, Vegeta and Nappa looked very different than how they do now. They had different colors for their armors and even Vegeta’s hair. But was having Vegeta and Nappa look like this on purpose? That's what we're gonna talk about today.

Vegeta was more badass and more extraterrestrial with his first appearance greenish armour and red hair.

The thing is, when there is alot of lightning, Vegeta's hair still looks a bit red. Vegito's hair is reddish black. Vegeta's hair is still reddish throughout the show, but not as apparent as he was at the beginning of Z.

There's actual a colored manga character introduction page from jump with the colors they use in the anime so if I had to take a guess they probably pulled it from that

Like in astronomy a stars type can change the color of everything. For instance take our sun if it was red the sky would be the same color as the red sun and the grass would be black. I guess it is the same in Dragonball.

@@DragonBallCode he dyed it. That's how vegeta's hair is red. Trunks' hair is purple because vegeta's was red and bulma had blue hair. Red and blue is purple
