I actually cried while listening to this. I just broke up with my girlfriend a few months ago and my family has been saying "I told you so" and I should've never got together with a girl. Wheein really helped me to move on from my situation by representing a subject that had been neglected by the media. That's why we moomoos love her.
There’s a reason why the CEO of RBW said that Wheein is the backbone of Mamamoo. Her voice can literally back up, blend, and/or pair with any voice, any genre, etc. Of course, this does not discredit the other members at all; they are all talented and skilled. But I think we can all agree that Wheein has the best technique and widest versatility in the group.

She reminisces on the times she spent in the house with her gf while finding her ex gf’s stuff like perfume and lipstick and trying it on bc she misses her. In heartbreak, she also messes up the place, paints over her ex gf’s painting, and throws away the new bf’s stuff. The ex gf knows it was her bc of the bf’s face being painted over in the picture but she’s already gone and moving on. Hope this helped! :D

The video up to this point is somewhat ambiguous about who he was upset over (2 of his friends were getting married). At the very end, he tosses aside the photo of the girl and places the guy next to himself, crying. In this video, it's a similar ending. You are lead to assume that the MV is about a guy, that's she's tossing the guy's things out. But then at the end you realize that she wasn't in her own home. She broke into the home of the couple who came in. The guy runs off camera and the MV ends with a focus on the woman. She walks up to the painting then picks up a photo of her with her boyfriend, and sees that he was painted over in the photo. I will give you that it's left open to interpretation, but for me the fact the video shares the same director as Please Don't, the fact that we see her dancing with a female mannequin, putting on the other's woman's lipstick, clothes, and perfume, and the fact that the MV ends with a focus on the woman's reaction rather than the man's tells me she was actually in love with the woman. If she were simply wishing to take the woman's place, it doesn't really make sense why she was throwing away the guy's things, and why she blocked him out of the photo instead of her.

Story is that she breaks into her and her ex gf’s old house in which her ex gf and the new bf live. She reminisces on the times she spent in the house with her gf while finding her ex gf’s stuff like perfume and lipstick and trying it on bc she misses her. In heartbreak, she also messes up the place, paints over her ex gf’s painting, and throws away the new bf’s stuff. The ex gf knows it was her bc of the bf’s face being painted over in the picture but she’s already gone and moving on.

The video up to this point is somewhat ambiguous about who he was upset over (2 of his friends were getting married). At the very end, he tosses aside the photo of the girl and places the guy next to himself, crying.
In this video, it's a similar ending. You are lead to assume that the MV is about a guy, that's she's tossing the guy's things out. But then at the end you realize that she wasn't in her own home. She broke into the home of the couple who came in. The guy runs off camera and the MV ends with a focus on the woman. She walks up to the painting then picks up a photo of her with her boyfriend, and sees that he was painted over in the photo.
I will give you that it's left open to interpretation, but for me the fact the video shares the same director as Please Don't, the fact that we see her dancing with a female mannequin, putting on the other's woman's lipstick, clothes, and perfume, and the fact that the MV ends with a focus on the woman's reaction rather than the man's tells me she was actually in love with the woman. If she were simply wishing to take the woman's place, it doesn't really make sense why she was throwing away the guy's things, and why she blocked him out of the photo instead of her.
The actress just confirmed that the woman was in love with the other woman 🥰

Wheein hasn't had a proper solo promotion yet, but if she did I suspect it wouldn't get the attention as hwasa's solos or Solar's. Moonbyul's solo albums have pretty great sales but it's been almost 10 months and we still can't get her solo mv to past 7M views.
Just a reminder that this song slayed the korean music charts without a single promotion. So stop saying that Wheein is underrated just because this mv has little views.
