man this brought me back to being 10, playing in Brockton with my brother who was a 4* recruit just out of Xaverian (his biggest competition in his high school was Matt Hasselbeck and his brother...the only sport they kept him away from was Football, because he hated it. But he beat them out for Basketball, Baseball, Hockey and Soccer as a sophmore) and recruited to Brown. He was 5"10, we were the only white kids on those tops, and then in Stoughton, then back - goin' down Warren, crossing Montello Corner in the City of Champions...and he would play all us kids 3 on 1, and he'd spend all day at the Brockton playgrounds playing 1 on 1 non stop all day, against some great great Boston players. Greatest player I've ever seen (and we went to he Celtics championship games and the Pitino debacle years; saw MJ play live w/Chicago and Washington... and his best friends were Timmy and Sean Grover/one is MJ's trainer, another had their other friend get the sports therapist spot on the Celtics - so he had contacts), he just didn't have the height at that point and dropped out of college too (he f'd up, for a girl). But then on the local circuits, I was 13 and he was 23, he put me on his 18-35 team and he averaged 47 points and 14 assists and never lost for 4 straight years. Nothing will get you more ready as a kid getting to Varsity in HS then playing against grown ass men 4 times a week; and if I ever got into it, he never babied me or saved me, I had to earn that. I'm just saying this because it brought all these great memories back man, thank you. We're too old now, but to see that this is still going on and it's not confrontational (usually, we had fights, everyone does doin this), but the positivity; love it. Thanks again man.

Professor, you are one respectable young man. I don't know your story, but I hope your parents are very proud of you. You are an inspiration to those young kids, which gives you much power. Inspire those kids that look up to you. Tell them, "grow up and be good, respectable adults that contribute to our society in a positive manner... Work hard and follow your dreams." Professor, realize your worth to our troubled world. I am proud of you and I wish you all the best.

that kid had potential, i could see him being the next professor in 10 years
He really isn’t that bad to be honest
Agree he was very good but underestimated the professor. It might have been even closer though if hadn't tried shooting from the outside where he was taking the ball out, because when missed the professor took full advantage of it. In the beginning I don't think he was trash talking I just think he was super confident because he was very good, but underestimated the professor's quick hands and speed, but then again everybody does lol
Clown
@@swmita he wasnt even really trying to trash talk. he asked him initially if they can do a 1v1 and professor said no. the only way he can get his attention is by trash talking him
@@abrararifify completely agree with that too, because you can see he wanted the match so he did what he had to do. Once the match was accepted he played with pure class and displayed that after the game as well.
The professor is just so fast the way he moves It’s just crazy how fast he is
I played against a college guy who was quicker but can only shoot cuz he played against tall guys and he was short
He carries every fucking dribble
@@skamarfire omfg stop watching basketball videos when you clearly don’t know the game. Carrying is when you have 2 hands on the ball or one hand under the ball. The professor always has his hand on the side of the ball. And even if he was carrying it’s the other dudes fault for not calling it out. Learn the game man
Grayson is a perfect example of what a great Human should be. I mean he is humble and kind but will take you out on the court without bragging and throwing it in your face. Respect is earned. He earned it.
Damn and bonus Saweetie!!!! Amazing way to start the day!
I’ve been waiting my whole life.
His whole life is 14 years lmao.
He's at least 18 let's be real
@@astr0xxconnorxx202 professor is like 37 so I’m sure he’s been playing for atleast 20 years.

Boy n the orange shirt…it takes integrity and self-respect to admit u were wrong or that u greatly underestimated someone else’s ability and to admit u need to work harder to get to the level u thought u were at n front of ur own people (community u live), and then to praise ur opponent and even ask for an autograph from them. That’s the definition of great sportsmanship and if he were my son I’d b more proud of him for all that over him winning that game if he had. Not to mention, he’s obviously a real contender…he’s a damned good player. Can’t leave out the Professor, either who also shows humility and sets a good example for those who need it,IMO. Great video.
I hope the Professor will follow Bone Collector's steps by going to compete in the Big3 League. That league is competitive and highly entertaining since day 1.
Now, imagine if former And1 athletes or Basketball RUclipsrs (Ajay Lapray, D'Vontay Friga, Chris Staples, etc.) go in Ice Cube's league. I'm not missing one game the next summer.
That will spark the reminiscence of streetball & 3x3!
Now that is some entertaining shit that i would with without a doubt watch
I love the Big 3. I love seeing the retired and middle age greyed up pros out there hooping competitively, doing what they love. I wish they make it full court.
@@htxflow
Full court is different than 3x3. I don't think it will be as fun as this league though.
FIBA 3x3 has more experience athletes and it is still a fast paced game packed with actions all game long.
If Big 3 League could spark the interest for a larger audience... it will be a win-win situation for FIBA and Ice Cube's league.
"I've been preparing for this my whole life"
Plays defense standing straight up lol.
It's a good D actually and he is actually good give him 5 years or so he will be good
As if u could do better lol
it's to not get the ball jacked through his leg and get crossed
Actually, his defense was solid. He didn't fall for any of his opponent's feints and stuck to his man like glue.
"Yea he's trash..... Can I get your autograph?" 🤦🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️🤣🤣
7:18 Never have I ever seen anybody doing that to the professor though!
Here you go , now u seen it twice 😄 ruclips.net/video/KbLvKUVOFOs/видео.html
It's good to see kids are still getting out of the house and exercising instead of just sitting home staring at their phones all day.
“I know all your moves” ..and I appreciate that!
Prof always a pro
Lol kid just wanted to play the professor and be on his RUclips channel, who wouldn’t lol
I get the feeling he lets the "trash talkers" gain a little confidence by taking the lead and then eviscerates them like the end of Braveheart.
Well yeah
No way!
His shooting was terrible at first and he was behind so I don’t know
@@rickrick5041 I think he could drive the lane and score on a layup any time he wants to. He tries some outside shooting at the beginning because it makes the game more even, but once the kid got a lead on him, he just abandoned the outside shot and started driving the lane, scoring every time. So he's not necessarily letting the kid score, but he definitely isn't trying his hardest at the beginning.
@@kevinconnor6035 So he gave up the shooting and drove in close because he was losing? It still means his shots were bad but I guess it happens
“can I have your arm sleeve? yeah sure” you too genuine bro
Yooooo what a Saturday gift!
This guy is so positive, he deserves a good live, I hope he has it...
Awesome Prof…. I don’t play basketball… I don’t even watch basketball … but I watch all your vids man …. It’s so entertaining and your moves are freaking sick, dude …
I like it how the professor tests the opposition. Realizes they have nothing on him and then deliberately misses a few baskets. While letting the dude have a few just to make it entertaining. Although to be fair red shirt dude can play. When it is uncontested.
9:28 Man's fake was so good the cameraman fell for it
you are fantastic man!! love your mindset!! playing with the young dudes hahaha so cool!!
When u realize professor bouta be 40 living legend🤯🐐💯
14:17 gives away arm sleeve..... magically has another one
he gave away a white one and has a purple one on after he gave the white one away

Imagine he simply reaches in a bag and gets a new one out... 😳😮😯..
It's his brand man.. C'mon now lol
This guy in the orange is actually pretty good, the amount of times he faked out the camera man with that fake shot tho 🤣
0:38 Casually steps out of BMW I8
Waited his whole life to get OWNED. 😂😂
id say he put up a good fight
Ngl the kid had game
True professional always taking the high road. Cause honestly that kid didn’t deserve anything more than a handshake post-game
What Millennials don't understand about Zoomer-talk: "You're trash" really means "You're really good and I want to be just like you"
"You're trash" = "Pls don't leave yet I am a big fan pls play against me"
Factttttttssss
Im lost (41 yo)
This would've been a perfect opportunity for the classic White Mamba line - "I'm closer to LeBron, than you are to me!"
bro, professor ir so chill playing, even against trash talkers, W guy fr 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Skinny Jeans & Scarf is actually a pretty decent hooper, but he was taken to school by The Professor.
I wanna see The Professor vs. Bone Collector
Bone been schooling professor for years. Bone was a legend when professor was learning from them
I think our ankles will break if we watched that match up
.. only chance Grayson would have would be if they played 3 dribble max... unlimited dribbles, BC would just back him down...

The professor reminds me of the Harlem Globe 🌎 Trotters ❤and the kid challenger has the talent too 💪
man this brought me back to being 10, playing in Brockton with my brother who was a 4* recruit just out of Xaverian (his biggest competition in his high school was Matt Hasselbeck and his brother...the only sport they kept him away from was Football, because he hated it.
Bro wrote a whole essay.
This is a joke btw no offense!!
@@TheHawksShowYT sorry, it was literally one of those damn moments of nostalgia lol I went nuts I know.
The professor made him give ball up when he took 3 steps, yet he double dribbles and carries half his plays
Yeah thats all sorts of wrong. He fake shoots by bringing the ball up acting like he's going to but before he puts his other hand on the ball he quickly changes back to dribbling. And I don't even know where you got that he carries
@@furney4768 And even if he did its on the other guy to make the call how u gonna blame him for someone else's ignorance (All hypothetical ofc and aimed at the original comment)
In streetball, it all depends on what the opponent chooses to call or not call
@@COOLSAUCE21 Damn u summed that up so much simpler😂😂
This is streetball first of all. 3 steps are allowed. Professor didn't even carry though and he's faking not double dribbling. If you slow it down you'll see. Also the guy didn't take three steps. He took two steps without boucing off the check. That's a travel
This guy keeps it humble. I’d be honored to play with him one on one just fun.
He should dress up as the Flash and break ankles
Aw man I wish there were ballers like The Professor doing random pickups here in New Zealand... Oriental Parade, Wellington is a good spot... this stuff is awesome for the community and sport, much respect!
The one person in the background who keeps saying “he’s bustin to ass”. Got me cryin🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
7:39 layup
8:00
9:21 steal.
10:54 dribble to fast 1,2
12:57 looked like travel
You have to remember how old Professor is while watching these too. Imagine how much he would burn these kids in his prime.
07:07 nice little fade, dude was pretty good. Simple style, but nice shooting.
I would be so happy if the professor embarrassed me in basketball
