Jesus Christ is God Almighty Himself He confirms it by revelation in John 1:1-18. This sin nature cannot be erased just by professing you are a christian or through good works or religious credits. This sin nature is our sinful flesh of lust and many, even priests have fallen into temptation because of lust. We cannot prevent falling into temptation unless we have the power of the Spirit of God living inside of us to control our sinful nature. To receive the Holy Spirit is not just by saying a sinner's prayer but also by reading the WORD by faith, Obeying every Word of Christ and continuously seeking the Kingdom of God. Its like a continuous washing and purification of our inner souls in God's eternal waterfall. In order to be truly born again we need the confirmation from God and not from man. When a person is truly born again, there is a special experential encounter with Jesus Christ where He alone confirms you are born again in His Spirit and have become One with Him. You will know it when you are given the special gift of a divine meeting with God. We cannot determine when we are born again....only Jesus can. I reiterate again that saying a sinners prayer do not constitute you are born again as many think they are. It only shows you are ready to step out of your comfort zone and committed to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. The confirmation of being born again needs to come directly through Jesus Christ and not by man ( priest, church leaders ) If you have doubt means Jesus has not confirmed you yet and you need to continue seeking Him. It may take some time but its worth all the treasures in the world. It took me 20 years. Now, I am 200% sure i am born again. Jesus Christ came not to give religion to mankind but He came to show us we can have a deep personal relationship with Heavenly Father God. Its by Faith through constant communication to Father God.
