Why do I get the impression that all celebs love their interviews with Ali? Always so genuine but never generic, always has something interesting to ask and relate to. Thank you Ali!
Because he always asks questions out of love and respect, for the actor and their craft. I remember him doing interviews with Samual L and Quintin, and he got into obscure music and movies with quinton, meanwhile, there's that one interviewer who managed to piss off Samual, Quinton, AND RDJ, to the point they bailed the interviews. Forgot his name, but I honestly didn't ever really want to remember it either.
Karen Gillian is my aspirational evening out over drinks/coffee just to have a chat and listen to her lovely accent. She just seems like a lovely person who is both incredibly talented and incredibly nice.
I always hear her with American accent in her movies, it's really weird to hear Karen doing her natural Scottish accent but I love it anyway, I love hearing the accent

She was great in DW and I suspected she's have some level of success but I was expecting it to be more UK based. Thanks to being in the MCU, she's blown up in the US too and gone from a secondary to one of the main characters. Everything else is just cherries on top. She can't seem to do any wrong.
I loved Nebula with Tony Stark on the Milano. Their time together made it like a brother and sister relationship. Nebula is my favorite Guardians character.

I really wish they had not called it Selfie. Between the trailer which made it look like her character was an unlikable version of Cher from Clueless and the name, it never stood a chance. It actually was a really well written show and the chemistry between John and Karen was fantastic. I really think it would have been a great show.
She's absolutely adorable, sweet & sexy and one of the few Scots whom I could actually understand, lol. and I agree with people on this thread she has acting chops, excellent range but is self-effacing and humble; looking forward to her next film or tv series.

I don't want to take anything away from Ali, he is a great interviewer. But in this case, his job was easy. I don't think I've ever seen a bad interview of Karen GIllan (I'm not saying one doesn't exist, but if they do, they are rare). She has a wonderful personality. I really love her interviews with Craig Ferguson also.
Though Nebula was completely different, she will always be Amelia Pond for me. Just cause I love writing for this character and incredible chemistry with Arthur Dervil (sorry if I'm mispelling). They rocked.
