Sunbird, was written by Janet, in homage to the courage of the Gaza Sunbirds, a team of cyclists disabled by amputations and other injuries inflicted by Israeli forces during the March of Return. Since October 2023 and the start of the bombardment of Gaza, the Sunbirds have been carrying out vital food aid distributions to their communities, delivering over 7,000 hot meals and providing shelter for over 200 people and providing a glimmer of hope during a time of darkness.
