  • In this video we are going to make a easy DIY picnic table for the garden. This is a low lever project that every body can to.
This is the material you need to make your own picnic table:
    - 25 meter of 2 by 6 board (add some meters for loss when cutting)
    - 8 off 110x10 DIN603 Mushroom head square neck bolts
    - 8 off M10 nuts
    - 8 off Ø10 washer
    - Woodscrews 4,2 x 75mm
    - Woodscrews 6,0 x 100 mm
The tools I been using are as follows:
    - Drill
    - Miter Saw (can use a hand saw)
    - Tape Measure
Have a look at our home page: www.norwegianfarmlife.com/
We have bought a 100-year-old farm that have not been farmed the last 50 years. Our goal is to bring this farm back to life to make a safe self-sufficient paradise for our children to grow up. We are going to raise animals like chickens, cheeps, pigs, dairy cows and much more. Norwegian Farm Life is a channel for the whole family with loads of farm idyl. Our farm is located on the western side of Norway.

The cut ends need a couple of coats of preservative.

Hadde du en testkanin eller to, eller fikk du så bra resultat på første forsøk?

Nei, dette er første gangen jeg lager en slik. Kan innrømme at jeg lagde den første rammen og justerte litt før jeg filmet 😀

You should really get that sawmill of yours going. That way you can start making lots of wooden structures without breaking the bank. Have you made any progress on it this year?

Yea, that would be great. It pains me every time I have to by material with all that forest in my back yard. The problem is that it will take a lot of resources to make a road to get access. It would involve contractors since there is there is a point where it needs to be blasted. My guess is I would need 30-50k USD😱. If I just needed a saw, it would be a lot easier.

I calculated it to work best with (x7) 2x6x6's
      (x6) 2x6x8's

Vist du spørre den med kokt linolje når den er tør før du bruker den varer den mye lenger

      2-in x 6-in. That is a standard dimension for lumber. 😊👍
