2024 C8 Corvette - Attack Blue Nano air filter install

How to install the washable high flow air filter to your new Corvette. Sounds complicated because there are a gazillion screws, but realistically it's a fairly simple, 20 minute job start to finish if you have the basic tools.

Thanks for posting. A couple comments for future folks - you don’t need to fully remove carpet in the Coupe and put a towel or mat down before you start removing the AF cover bolts. You drop one and it’s chaos without something to catch it.

I should have added if you have heat insulation under the carpet like I do, much easier to remove carpet. If you have the trim tool for the 4 plastic carpet tacks then remove them. It’s easier but YMMV.

What specifically did you use for heat shielding underneath the carper? Got a link? I like that idea...

I made the mistake of buying the AfE air filter. Think they make them cheaper. There is no backplate on it and no notch at the top. Yet the picture from where I bought it shows the backplate. Strange.
