They had problems with the engine the whole time its not just the really bad constant framerate and i guess M$ dont want to put more money in it for a scorpion port.
Nah, it's just horribly optimized. Compare the graphics and stuff on screen to Metal Gear Solid. Not many differences other than some destruction and extra foilage. (And MGS still managed to squeeze out 60 fps)
So there shouldn't be any excuses for this game to not run at a stable 30fps.
Jeremy Er graphics aren't the only thing that affect performance. Another hug factor is the actual gameplay.

This gameplay seems very similar to the latest Dynasty Warriors. You fight nameless soldiers and essentially one shot them, can somewhat issue commands to a A.I. Companion and can go all super charged and put major damage on a boss character.

Platinum Games always makes really fast paced and intense playing games that take a lot of practice. I hope this game follows suit. It looks pretty fun, MC reminds me of a DMC3 Dante honestly.

Looks pretty good... Seems like it has a lot of potential for great boss battles, but I hope they don't stress the whole multiplayer battle thing as seen at the end

These are the same devs. Platinum Games is comprised of the former Capcom team responsible for the old DMCs. (a UK studio I forgot the name of did the reboot DmC), as well as Beyonetta. It's more of a spiritual successor or style mark type thing, like Destiny having similar visual elements as Halo, as they were both bungie.

This game looks like it was the product of heavy market research with the aim of appealing to broader audience than Platinum Games' typical fare.
Seems like it's running below 30fps to me...i don't care about 60fps, but this is unacceptable.
Its pre-alpha and the game is going out only on the end of 2016, if you really belive it will run like this you need a doctor.

So basically this is Devil May Cry meets Final Fantasy. Seems unusual for an Xbox exclusive, I tend to expect a tad more FPSness from them, but Fable wasn't of course and yeah, it could work I guess.
