Man made it to the premiere, such a real one! I wrote Larry's verse at 11 PM; I was tucked into bed with my stuffed owl (yes i sleep with a stuffed owl despite being in college), and then I thought of the line "I'm the strongest man in the ocean, hold on, let me put on a little sun lotion" and I shot up and just wrote the rest of the verse in a few minutes. Probably one of my favorite moments from the writing experience.

My 11 year old dog just died today, had to put her down all of a sudden. At 3 AM she was fine, but then by 11 AM she was unable to walk and was very sick that morning. Took her to the hospital, where we thought we'd have a few more days. Then she went from bad to worse in the span of a few hours, and we had to put her down there as she wouldn't have survived the car ride home. This song is helping me get through this. It just has that friendly, relaxing vibe that's cheering me up that's much different from other songs Sponge has done. I love it and want to thank you Sponge for helping me through this tough time. Thanks a lot, and keep up the excellent work as always Sponge.

I LOVED THAT LINE! Probably my favorite Larry line in general, but I think the best line from the song was the "fabric is showing" line in Sponge's second verse. That one was a lot of fun to write because it was just a fun way to add a tiny bit of speed to keep y'all on your toes!
I always feel like there’s hardly any songs in 2020+ that have a positive light. Appreciating the life we truly have, or at least distracting yourself from it taking a break. As a fact obviously we humans take what we have for granted. But this episode shows how your mental state can be truly when you have a positive view of life with friends, family or even strangers that could become your best friends. I love this song the true SpongeBob song that I feel is truly in character with him for the pure optimism. We all need to know how good we have it nowadays and that life isn’t all sadness and pain.
