Louis Vuitton Victorine Wallet in Noir Empreinte Unboxing

I received the Victorine Wallet in black Empreinte leather from my husband this Christmas. Please excuse any slip ups, as this was not rehearsed, and I am not a RUclipsr--I just wanted to share my research, comparisons, and reactions for your benefit! When I mention the LV Capucines Wallet for comparison in the video, I meant the LV Capucines Compact Wallet. There is also a full sized one, which I was not referring to.

Do you find that the embossing depth varies on each piece? I’ve taken a look at several throughout various LV boutiques & the embossing depth is different on literally ALL of them.

Thank you so much for this really thought-out review! I've been going back and forth between the Capucines, Victorine (empreinte / monogram) and Chanel small wallet. I recently took the Chanel out of the equation for being too bulky, and am now deciding between the Victorine and Capucines. How has your Victorine held up over the year?

The leather has weathered very well! However the clasp is not as good. The clasp often comes unclasped in my bag.

Is the gold button shiny or matte? .. I just got one and wasn’t sure if it was scratched up or it’s just the look of the gold metal

It's shiny, not matte. Mine doesn't look scratched when I hold it up to the light. I'd be a little concerned if it looks that way and you just bought it. Perhaps you could go to the store and ask to see others to compare.

Oh no! I've not gotten white scuff marks, but it's not usually in a white bag. Not sure if that might be why.

Does the leather transfer? I have the Montaigne in Empreinte leather in Noir and I’ve seen my hands with black stain when I wear it

I have not noticed any color transfer! And have had it for 10 months now.
